SPARK Pugilist Class (WOTC)

Description
Description
Newly updated for War Of The Chosen, Pugilist is a SPARK class that punches things. It has 10 new perks to facilitate that. Most of them involve punching! This class requires -bg-'s SPARK Custom Class Support mod. Without it you'll never be able to get your hands on one of these.

THIS VERSION IS FOR WOTC ONLY! There's another version already available for the base game.

Perks
Squire:
Left Hook: The vanilla Strike perk, but with no cooldown and 10% more accurate.

Aspirant:
Gut Shot: A strike that deals 3/4ths damage, but stuns the target for 2 action points.

Haymaker: A less accurate strike (+0 instead of +30) that deals 50% more damage.

Knight:
Burning Finger: All your melee attacks light their targets on fire (1-3 burning damage).

EM Punch: All your melee attacks deal +3 damage to robotic units (applied before the damage modifier for the Asp. perks).

Cavalier:
Jab: A strike that refunds you an action point afterwards.

Flurry: Bladestorm except with your fists.

Vanguard:
Float: On killing an enemy with a strike you gain +5 mobility for 2 turns. The duration refreshes on each kill.

Sting: Your strikes ignore all of your target's armor.

Paladin:
Implacable: As vanilla.

Untouchable: As vanilla.

Champion:
Hidden Dragon: A strike that, if it kills an enemy, puts you in concealment. It also makes you undetectable (mostly) until the next player turn.

Crouching Tiger: A strike that deals +1 damage for every two tiles between you and your target.

Compatibility
Mods that change the default SPARK Strike won't have any impact on the Pugilist's many punches.

In order to make Flurry behave I had to set every Bit to have a range of 0. As far as I can tell this doesn't impact anything, but it's worth noting.

There is optional compatibility with RealityMachina's Metal Over Flesh mod's Berserker Gauntlet upgrade. To enable it set "bUpgradeCompat" to true in XComPugilistClass.ini.

There is an optional setting to add more knockback and environment damage to the Pugilist's punches on par with -bg-'s Bigger SPARK Punches mod. To enable it set "bBiggerPunches" to true in XComPugilistClass.ini. The ini also defines which abilities are impacted, so you can remove specific abilities if you only want some to be affected.

Thanks
Thanks go to xylthixlm for XModBase (which this uses) and the icon pack that all the new perk icons come from.

Thanks to Long War Studios for the code for Fleche.

Thanks to -bg- for giving me the ability to make SPARK classes (and letting me use the code from Bigger SPARK Punches).

Thanks to Grimy because I totally stole the idea for Jab from his Headhunter class.

Note
This has been minimally tested and I haven't even actually played the expansion as of this writing. Let me know if anything is weird.

It's the eInvSlot_SecondaryWeapon itself that conflicts with Spark Arsenal

Iridar's SPARK Arsenal 3.0 adds a range in the BIT to make it compatible with Scanning Protocol. There's also a TON of other changes in it that can interfire with Flurry.

Oh the dependency is the old none wotc spark mod...

It's been a pretty long time since I booted up XCOM2, but if I remember right that means that some other mod is stomping on range changes I made to the Bits.

Pretty big glitch when using this: the "flurry" ability designed to reaction punch any enemy that enters or leaves melee range activates instead whenever somebody moves in my Spark's line of sight, meaning it punches enemies from like 5 tiles away.

You do need the WOTC version of Spark Custom Class support for this though.

I've found a fix to use this in WOTC. It requires a quick ini file change. Go to the mod's XcomSparkClass.ini and delete the first line only, and replace it with [SPARKCustomClassSupportWOTC.SparkClasses]

If it uses the same config structure as the old one it should work fine.
