Description
AoC - Shield and Spear Wall for Naval Units

Description:
This mod adds for all melee naval units Shield Wall ability and for all spear naval units Spear Wall ability (after disembark), so you have more possibilities in battle warfare.

Mod excellent cooperate with mod Attila - "Use the Whip" Available on Water Only.

Key features:
  • all melee naval units got Shield Wall ability after disembark - affect all factions and mercenaries
  • all spear naval units got Spear Wall ability after disembark - affect all factions and mercenaries

Compatibility:
  • mod designed for Age of Charlemagne DLC
  • save game compatibility (you don't have to start new game)
  • you can use that mod with all mods that don't change same features (or load my mod after them in Mod Manger) - for example it's compatible with AoC Campaign Enhanced, Anno Domini: 768 - AOC Historical Reskin, Pater Europae: Age of Charlemagne reskin overhaul, Age of Charlemagne - UI more immersive mods

Have you something that increases range distance for transport land armies? Because in AOC it takes 20 turns or more to get just from southern England to northern Spain

Its a damn fine mod though, didnt play as viking is this game yet...
And I will want that shieldwall...

Good idea but u are goin to get pinned down, once u hit the beach and build a shieldwall....
That´s how I fuck up any incoming naval forces, I sent 400 infantrymen of any kind mostly middle to heavy meele infantry down to the beach and back em up with 400 archers or stone slingers...
The outcome is the total destruction of enemy forces mostly before they hit the beach...
