Civil Freedom

Description
[ Civil Freedom ]

A mod that changes race based civil point boost and point distribution to give more freedom.
Created for the purpose of giving players more freedom in the party to decide who would specialize in certain Civil-Ability builds without being restricted from min-maxing by their choice of a character race.

What this mod does:

- Removes race based talents which add +1 point to a civil ability.
- Gives +1 free civil ability point to distribute as you please to every race.
- List of characters affected by these changes:
1. Characters made using character creation screen. (Origin & Custom)
2. Origin NPC's characters recruited in-game.
3. Henchmen NPC's recruited in-game.

[ Definitive Edition??? ]
Due to having difficulty in getting Divinity Engine 2 to work with Definitive Edition I am unable to upload my Definitive Edition version of this mod on steam workshop. However I found a workaround to getting the mod to work without the editor and have made it available on the nexus. You can find it using the following link:

I am currently working on a workaroud due to editor not working on my machine anymore. (Apparently they did something that made the engine incompatible with my Win 8 OS and I doubt they will bother on fixing it.)

- Due to the editor not working it means I cannot upload Definitive Edition mods on steam workshop, as a result all my DefEd mods will from now on be only available on Nexus.

I will inform everyone when the mods are made available, sorry for delay.

Unfortunately I can't even get the editor to work so thats not even a part of my worries as of yet. I am running out of options of things I have tried so far. The classic version works just fine... but definitive crashes every time its loading on "Starting Services" if anyone knows what could be the issue any help is appreciated.

Hey StarScribe, the definitive edition has a different physics engine from the base game, Mods can't be ported over, you need to remake them if they were for original edition. Hope this helps in any way

I am currently experiencing issues when trying to get Divinity Engine 2 to work when launching it for Definitive Edition version of the game.

It just keeps crashing upon "Starting Services" loading screen... So I will update the mod and release some alternative versions as soon as I can figure out how to fix this.

Yeah, just tried this out, and like @Frizzeldian12 said, it doesn't work with custom chars. It takes away the racial ability, but doesn't give you the point.

I've noticed an issue with this mod in how it affects the perk "all skilled up" i don't recieve the extra civic point from all skilled up when the mod is activated.
