Description
This is an old version of the mod that is no longer being supported on this page. It may work with the base version of the game, but it's really only here so that current subscribers don't have their local files removed by Steam. I am planning on updating this mod for compatibility with the latest patch/Gathering Storm. I'll post a link here to the new Steam page once I've created it.



This is a light version of Free Camera

Camera rotation no longer resets after you release the mouse. Press the H key to toggle between default and last used camera rotation.

You can rotate the map in 3 ways: Shift + Left Click Drag, Alt + Left Click Drag, and the Q and E keys.

You can also pan the map with WASD keys. Please remember to clear out the WASD and QE keys in Game Options --> Keybindings if you will be using them, otherwise other stuff will pop up.

You can change all of the keybinds and settings while you are playing the game. See the discussion for instructions.

Can be used with saved games (for multiplayer however, you cannot usually change the enabled mods list for a saved game).

Compatibility
Should work with any mod, but it will replace the mod's WorldInput.lua if it has one (most don't).

CQUI Users:
- Compatible with CQUI
- Q and E to select next/previous city/unit moved to shift + Q and shift + E (unless you have QE rotation disabled in the settings)
- Pressing shift to select next city/unit is moved to the X key (unless you have Shift rotation disabled in the settings, X keybind can be changed in settings)

"Works" but removes the circle and traced line when you are going to move an unit, leaving just a number in the middle of a tile

Is there any way someone else can take this mod up and fix it, at least until MadManCam returns? Not having this mod is killing me. :(
Or maybe someone knows how to fix it on our end so we can do it ourselves?

I hope you update this! I absolutely LOVE this mod! Unfortunately, the Gathering Storm update broke it.
While it still technically works and does what it is supposed to do, when it's enabled it causes a graphical glitch to occur with the unit movement turn counter* when you attempt to move a unit. The numbers shown on each hex end up sticking permanently to the map as soon as they appear and will not disappear until the game (save) is reloaded.
