Report a translation problem
I do remember seeing a well-known SE YouTuber use this mod some time ago, though I can't recall who it was. It's possible that a fixed version or updated modpack exists out there. I suggest checking YouTube or search internet to see if someone has created a fix or added a fixed version into a modpack.
If I had to guess, the problem might be related to a texture layer issue. Back when I was working on these, the game used the RGBA layers to handle properties like alpha, metallic, and so on. Hopefully, this helps point you in the right direction!
