Description
Introducing, the revival of Hunting+
A mod I made back in early access that only really added new huntng knives and armor, and now, revived once again to just that plus a new skinning mechanic.

All Hunting+ Wildfire content that was in Intergalactic Wilds is now part of Hunting+ Wildfire (not including mini bosses, new monsters, etc); this is because Intergalactic Wilds is no longer a singular mod and has been split into several different parts for each feature (to make everything more customizable for the player); see the new collection version of all the mods and its description for more information here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1263194721

  • 7 Tiers (1-6 & 8 - as opposed to just 1-6 [Not including Protectorate Broadsword])

The mod itself is heavily codex-based/oriented storytelling.
In the codices you will find information from the basics (also covered below) to all the new drop-rates/dropped-items of unique monsters to some extra fan-lore! These can be crafted at the Inventor's Table. All races will start with the first codex in their ship storage (on new characters) - old characters can buy the first codex at the Inventor's Table for relatively cheap.

Mod Compatibility
Compatibilities
  • This version will only be roughly compatible with Frackin' Universe at the time. Either way, if you want FU monsters to drop loot properly, you will need the patch below.
Known Incompabilities
  • Likely any mod that adds a collection or changes the collection UI. It isn't gamebreaking etther but until CF adds better support for modders in regards to collections there isn't much I can do.

Installation Instructions:
  • Before subscribing MAKE SURE TO BACK UP ALL WORLDS
Uninstallation Instuctions:
  • Take off ALL new armors and step out of any traps you may be in before uninstalling
  • If you have the Lava Immunity Augment inserted into your EPP, override it or take off the EPP
  • No other problems should occur - if they do, please tell me immediately

Final Words:
  • I do ask that you try to avoid spoiling as much of the mod as possible for other/future players - nothing against it really, but the mod will be much more enjoyable if they can discover things on their own, especially all the redacted information in the above list.
  • If you have any suggestions, throw them my way! I love to hear feedback - especially things players would like to see!
  • All reports/complaints of errors/crashes/compatibility-issues will be impossible for me to address UNLESS a pastebin of your log file is given (after the error/crash) OR if you provide distinct details. If you do not know where to find the log, do a quick google search or go to the forum post for instructions.

Okay, figured it out. Took me a while because I had a break to build my ship.

I decided to go melee this time instead of my customary ranged style. This time, the final battle went as intended. Kind of odd. An oversight? Ranged is the best way to play games like this, imo, so I tend to default to it--particularly for boss fights!

Anyway, I was able to proceed.

Forgot to mention in my initial post: The quest says 'defeat the tentacle clones'. Huhhh? So I am stuck in a box waiting for those to appear.

I know this mod is abandoned, but I have to know.... Is 'Seeking Brigadier Bluejay' broken? I am stuck on the final encounter waiting for something to happen. Everything seems to be dead and there are no more waves of monsters. My crew keeps commenting on the floor being weird, so I imagine it is significant, and I can see something below us, but...nothing is happening. Can anyone advise?

I love this mod and used it for years, but never got this far before.

This is a great mod. I really like all it has to offer. Only issue I have with it is that the ("Seeking Brigadier Bluejay") quest seems to be bugged for me. Twice I made the bloody codex ("one on two different characters") and each time I have no way of going to the unknown location ("laboratory") to complete the quest. S.A.I.L never shows the mission. It seems to only be isolated issue with me. Others that use this mod are not having the same problem. Other than my one issue, really enjoy the mod.

This mod is great fun but I just realized it isn't compatible with critter capture revamped

For anyone who sees this: As you may have guessed, there will be no Halloween event this time around (since it has to be manually enabled by me, and isn't automatic - I wish it was). Probably not even Christmas or any others. This is due to my hiatus from the game.
