Description

This mod adds slimes to RimWorld. These amoeboid creatures can be as temperamental as cobras, yet are as tough as bears. Taking one down or taming one could be highly dangerous, so beware! (Features builtin patching for A Dog Said... Animal Prosthetics and More Mechanoids.)

There is currently 14 slimes in this mod. Anything from regular slimes, which can be sheared for insect jelly, to cyberslimes which essentially are a cloud of mechanites with an AI core in the middle. This mod even adds a powerful weapon in the form of a rageslime. It can be harvested for its ragedrug which can be consumed (not recommended) or made into mortar shells and a launcher. Getting hit by the ragedrug in any form makes you go berserk but with a higher pain tolerance and better manipulation and moving. The berserk aspect of the drug can removed by combining the ragedrug with slimedrug which also improves the aspects of both drugs. There is a slime for most needs.
Need medicine? Drugslime got your back with immune boosting drugs.
Need warmth? Get a lavaslime (produces chemfuel as well).
Need cold? Acquire a iceslime.
Need luciferium? Very carefully tame a hellslime.
Need chunks? Stoneslimes are what you need.

I've been keeping a personal update of this mod all throughout 1.4 and am now updating it for 1.5. I may choose to post it publicly once I've ironed out all the kinks. Is that alright with you? @Leonapp

Going to announce right now that this mod might not be updated in some time. I got a lot going in my personal life and the latest update kinda broke the mod in ways I can't figure out how to fix. Much of the code is probably outdated and kind of taped together to somewhat work, but is very unstable. I have been looking for someone to take over this mod and had some people interested a while but it's been quiet on that front as of these past months. If anyone knows something about modding and might be interested in keeping this mod going, feel free to comment! Thanks for understanding!

Ditto on exotics comment there, I haven't really done modding in a while and I study nowadays which doesn't leave me as much time to study the code once more. I got a break from school next week so I'll try to update everything then since there was multiple errors that I couldn't figure out yesterday. As of now however, the mod is unplayable in 1.4 due to a error with the sound files

<sigh> Curse Tynan and his incessant need to change backend code for no reason. @Arukado This should be fixable by simply commenting out the entire Cyberslime section of the patch code, as all that section does is attempt to add Cyberslimes to the Mechanoid faction as a raid spawn.

If you'd like to retain them as a raid spawn, you can copy the lists of raiding options from the core files and add Cyberslimes at a rate of 10. Otherwise, you'll likely have to wait until Leon can update, as I haven't worked on L-Slimes in years at this stage.
