Kill Animation Overhaul (No Battle Changes) PATCH 17 Version

Description
NOTE: This mod is intended for those who have opted into keeping Patch 17 version of Rome 2. If you have Patch 18, I reccommend using the version of this mod linked below.

This is a requested version of my Kill Animation Overhaul (No Battle Changes) mod, viewable and downloadable here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=683895635

This version is the original version of that mod, before my Patch 18 update. In Patch 18, CA drastically reworked combat animations, removing several of them and increasing the frequency of lame "Heart Attack" deaths, which more or less breaks this mod. In response, I had to update my Kill Animation mod to use an older set of animations, which works around CA's removal of animations and preserves the prior animation variety, however it has the unfortunate side effect of removing some gore effects (eg decapitations and dismemberment).

As such, for those who either opted into the old Patch 17 version of the game, or those who wanted to try my mod in Patch 18 without removing gore effects (despite the vastly less animation variety this brings), I uploaded this outdated version of the mod for those who want it.

Summary:
Running Patch 17 (or earlier) : Use this version.
Running Patch 18 but want to keep all gore effects at the price of vastly less combat animations: Use this version.
Running Patch 18 and want vastly more kill animations at the price of less gore effects: Use the main version, downloadable here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=683895635

HOW TO GET BOTH BLOOD AND ANIMATIONS POST PATCH 18: If you want both the full gore effects and the full animations and are willing to jump through some hoops, do the following:
1. Make sure you are running the latest patch of ROME 2 (should automatically be the case unless you opted into the patch 17 version)
2. Download this mod
3. In the in-game menu of Rome 2, disable gore effects
4. Start the given battle
5. Once the fight starts, enable gore effects (you should now have both gore effects and great animations).
6. Once the battle ends and you are back to the campaign/main menu, repeat step 3 and on

This is not a great permanent solution, however it does work as far as I can tell, and until CA finally fixes what they broke in Patch 18. If you forget to do step 3, you will only have gore effects but very little animation variety, and if you forget step 5, you will have great animation variety but no gore effects.

It took me an entire Sunday afternoon to do it, but I've managed to narrow down the two offending animations and replace them with the non-blood and gore variants, thus leaving all other animations in tact. This is the best we have until CA releases an official fix.

Please post in the thread here so that CA fixes it when they release the next and possibly final patch for ROME II: https://forums.totalwar.com/discussion/221528/bug-patch-20-blood-gore-dlc-overused-decapitation-and-leg-dismemberment-i-figured-out-a-fix/p1?new=1

☢ Bloodbath & Dust effects
If you want your blood to stay permanent on the floor, download and drop this thinny mod in to your game data folder no matter if you use or not with this graphic mod! Same for the dust effects.

Note that in order for the volumetric dust to be visible, the particle effects setting must be set to very high or above.
