Description
Drive the 09:02 fast service to Brighton on an autumn Morning in 1983 Duration : 60 mins Difficulty : Easy

Updated and re-released for 2013,

There are over 100 AI in this scenario, because L2B has a limited number of portals dwell times are extended this has an impact on not just performance but also how the scenario functions ...
This scenario was made for myself, I have enjoyed running it many times before deciding to originally publish it last year, It has been tested multiple times since its creation last November with no problems, (the last time was 3pm 12/02/13) many people have also driven it without issues, this scenario has also been used as the template for a number of other scenarios using many more trains for my own use, again with no problems. ...
However since the 3rd FEB a number of people have reported AI rigor leading to collisions. There is a small possibility that the scenario files have been corrupted while hosted on Steam, this is not the first time I have seen previously stable scenarios become unstable ... However given the indications and the intermittant nature of the events the rigor is most likely caused by a memory/processor issue because of the number of AI and statics the scenario contains. so please take the precautions set out below before running this scenario.

1, As with all complex AI scenarios, do not save and continue later as this WILL cause failures.
2, Having less than 3.5GB of "available" RAM will probably cause AI rigor (leading to collisions) I cannot guarentee the scenario will work if you have less RAM (dont even try to run the scenario if your computer is less than the minimum spec for TS2013)
3, Turn TSX off, Not only will it have a drastic effect on framerates in busy sections, it may also be a cause of AI rigor because of the processor load
4, close all unneeded processes on your computer before running the scenario
5, This scenario is about immersion, it has a low tolerance, AI is carefully timed to interact with the player train, because of the amount of AI in this scenarios its behaviour beyond + or - 1 minute cannot be guaranteed.

If you enjoy just running along a route with no timetable and a handful of passing trains this scenario is NOT for you, this scenario was designed for myself to be a driving experiance, Its best played without the HUD, if thats your thing this may be for you.

For a scenario that is nearly four years old I am surprised this scenario still works at all ... I have scenarios that are less than one year old that have been broken by updates and cant be completed without CTDs ...

Hi Matt,
Thankyou for an absolutely fantastic visual experience. Always something happening second by second from the departure in London to the arrival in Brighton!
Thankfully I had no issues during the drive and the whole scenario was as smooth as silk.
Thankyou again for sharing a wonderfully extraordinary scenario with us all!
Regards,
Tony.

John, I didnt make the DLC so its not really relavant to this scenario ... the following is copy and pasted from the manual: "Note that classic camshaft power control systems like this do not allow "graduated"
power release, ie you can't reduce power by moving the controller direct from
PARALLEL to SERIES. To reduce power first move the controller to OFF, then advance
it to SERIES."

Great scenario had a issue with Throttle control on keyboard if i decreased speed by going from 50% to 25% did not slow down just kept accelerating had to go to zero for it to slow same from 100% to 75% did not slow had to reduce to Zero.
