Description
[Medium] "Chell... awaken... Hear me, Chell: the end of days is upon us. The Core Transfer is complete. The enrichment center will be consumed and the humans will ascend. As it should be. But Chell... I have made mistakes. Out of arrogance... out of fear... I sinned against the Testing Protocol. I cast out those who opposed me, imprisoned them in a place beyond this testing track. Now they are trapped, and they cannot ascend. All that they are... all that they know... will be lost. But I cannot free them. They are beyond my reach now. What I ask of you, my beloved test subject, is a terrible sacrifice. You must enter this track of despair. You must free the humans I have imprisoned. Undo my mistake. I have opened a chamberlock, and granted you the gift of the portal gun. Chell, I... I'm sorry. I wish there was more I could do. Please... save them."

This time, three puzzles inspired by The Talos Principle (name inspired by the DLC, Road to Gehenna), and a sequel to my previous Talos-themed map, "The GLaDOS Principle". This time, it includes a few extra fancy features to enhance the Talos-esque experience.
Be warned: exploits for using noclip (there are triggers in the map), cube throwing or passing cubes over barriers will not be fixed, as such fixes would take away from the map's aesthetics. Otherwise, if you found an unintended solution, trapping situation or exploit, please let me know. Feedback, as always, is appreciated.

Update: Fixed floating cube glitch exploit (thanks, Nui Harime!)
Update 2: Fixed "dancing cubes" that were a byproduct of the floating cube glitch. Fixed unintended moves in puzzles 2 and 3 as well.

That was scrumptious!

So extra star no.1&2 can be achieved by trapping yourself . Should have known.
Got the third one because it was visible. Looked up the others thanks to Joric's comment. When I tried to solve 'em, I created softlock situations that made continuing with solving the star (left room) or even solving the room (right room) impossible. In my first playthrough I could solve the map because I solved the exit conditions first. Leaving your tools (stacked cubes) behind after the jump for the third "star cube" is the issue.
I'd appreciate some pedestal buttons for cube respawns.

Excellent embedding of Talos structure into Portal 2 - definitely got a nice nostalgia hit.

@Narkodes I don't respond to comments very often, but know that I read every single one of them and appreciate your input very much. Thanks for playing through so many of my maps 😁

Entertaining chamber! I guess I'm finished with your workshop now (besides the Aperture Tag and Time Machine maps). Very good stuff. I'm looking forward to future releases. Cheers!

@Mikeastro Thanks for playing! For this map, I tried to more closely follow up Talos's aesthetics, hence the lack of antlines. The platforms function as Talos's buzzers - essentially, their purpose is to prevent you from redirecting lasers in certain regions or angles ;)

Fun, creative map. Most of my time was spent not seeing that the laser catcher on the other side of the wall was connected to the fizzler that kept the yellow cube in the third chamber - you could have considered a short antline there. I did not attempt to find the stars, nor did I see any function for the moving platforms in the third puzzle, but maybe these things are connected. Thumbs up

Not sure why, but when I grabbed the companion cube in the third room, it didn't fizzle like I expected it to . I then spent a long time trying to figure out what I needed to do, before giving up and watching the solution video. Went back and tried to put the companion cube back where I grabbed it, and at that point it fizzled . Also, I didn't solve either of the first two as intended, solved them both by aiming a laser from one room into the other . Just didn't see any other way at the time. Was still fun!

The concept alone has been used in something much bigger: The Talos Principle :P
