Description
Produce new, unique Gleaps with genetically enhanced abilities! Genetically Produced Gleaps, or Pleaps, are modifications of the original lovable Gleap found on Lush Planets.
Pleaps can also be found rarely in the wild! They will inhabit biomes that make sense for them (Water Pleaps on Ocean planets, Bioluminescent biomes for Angler Pleaps, etc)

Pleaps have many unique ways to interact with their environment ranging from emitting light to setting fire to the ground with each hop! Some
Pleaps are built for defensive combat and will shoot out thorns when struck while others will fight back with elemental attacks! Each Pleap has its own defining features and unique appearance, movements, and behaviors to set them apart from the rest.

This mods adds 13 new creatures:

Glace - Alpine Biome
Glakk - Tar Biome
Glapp - Spring Biome
Glawb - Giant Flower Biome
Glea - Prism Biome
Gleamb - Oasis Biome
Gleen - Eyeball Biome
Gliath - Steamspring Biome
Glight - Bone Biome
Glime - Swamp Biome
Glood - Flesh Biome
Gluma - Biolumin Biome
Glehemoth - Unobtainable (/spawnmonster glehemoth)

In addition, all Pleaps have a chance to spawn randomly from the Gleap Sequencer, a new item sold for 30,000 Pixels at Terramart!

For awhile we were trying to figure out why the unique monster spawns for our planets were having conflicts. It turns out that it was the Pleaps mod because it overrides uniques.spawntypes instead of patching it.

Glea and Glood apply the 'weakice' and 'weakfire' status effects which are also unavailable in vanilla, causing issues with players being unable to take damage.

The "action-statuseffect" behavior is unavailable in vanilla which causes the following pleaps to commit suicide when they update:
-> Glime
-> Glace
-> Glakk
-> Gleamb
-> Gleen
-> Gliath

Glapp, Glawb, and Gluma all need to have the 'weakelectric' status removed from their touchDamage in their .monstertype files to prevent the player from breaking.

Glapp causes error:

[20:45:29.152] [Error] Exception while invoking lua function 'applyDamageRequest'. (LuaException) Error code 2, [string "/stats/player_primary.lua"]:63: (StatusEffectDatabaseException) No such unique stat effect 'weakelectric'

It's kinda sad that this mod won't get updated because it's currently broken and breaks the hitboxs for enemies sadly.

And on that note, I wish you made more of these for the other enemies, that would have been really cool.

pandoras box comatibility? (because I want nuke pleaps and nightmare dragon pleaps but still have glicthy poptop montrosities)

i have a problem some pleaps spawned from the gleap sequencer are either invincible or die from a single bit of damage but the health bar of the pleap says that it has plenty health left

I have fixed the crash issue! Thank you to Shinra Theta for his help in discovering what was causing the crash! Pleaps should now run fine with any mods, enjoy and thanks for the support :)
