Overgrown Office

Description
Size: Large. Time to clean: 2.5 to 3 Hours. An Aerospace Inc office has been overrun by an unknown alien growth and it needs to be burned away. Don't worry too much about the Biomass, it's alot more lenient then the one in Incubation. Be aware, this map features a LOT of Welder use to clean all the Biomass.

Notes:
-Use the Garbage Disposal shaft to get things near the Incinerator fairly quickly.
-There are cameras you can see through by using the green screen monitors near the start.
-Graffiti on the walls needs to be removed, the Acid Vials will help you greatly with that.
-You may want to look for the Bucket Dispensers on the top or bottom floor.
-It might help to use the left Elevator leading to the Incinerator to dispose of fragile items more easily or dispose of Biomass quickly.

Awesome map. 4hrs18 182% Feels really official. Love the location of the bucket and bin dispenser too. I like it when the map is built around them, the furnaces too.

Thanks for this one!! I loved chucking stuff down the garbage chute. And the easter eggs hidden around were fun too. :D :vcdsign:

I know some doors are locked but there are several with the red "click here to open" separate buttons. Those are not to be opened either? Gotcha. Back to cleaning then!

Ah, yeah, some doors are simply locked permanently because there's nothing (gameplay-related atleast) behind them. I'm not even sure if I locked any doors on this map, they should all either be openable or locked?

In general, if a keypad displays locked without keycode, it never opens (though exceptions are possible, but rare). As for the vines, that's sadly just Decals being weird, they wrap around the geometry and sometimes spill through it, too.
So uh, you're not missing anything there. (Though there are well-hidden easter eggs all around!)

I know this map has been around for a while but I just started it. I've cleaned up nearly all the pod things and the vine things and bodies (leaving everything in place). I've searched the rooms I can open and I can't find any keys or notes or codes to the other doors. I know there are at least two YouTube videos for this map but before I spend hours sitting here watching someone else play through, any help to find the notes/whatever for those doors? I know there's things behind some of them because vines are under the door of at least one of them.

I really enjoyed just how "dense" this map was, I had the problem where I felt like was just wasting my time walking like a lot of the harder vanilla maps (Revolutionary Robotics, Pestilent Penitentiary) do. It was fun chucking things down the garbage chute, though the prevalence of trash tucked away in tiny nooks and corners was pretty annoying. Another great map!

Ah, don't think I can help much with that, sadly. I'm not that strapped for cash, and it's mainly a creative endeavour when there's inspiration for it, so can't quite do it on-demand sadly (also can easily take 1-2 weeks to make a full proper map).

While the editor is tougher then most I worked with, you could always give it a go yourself, see how others made something and replicate/learn from it, and enough folks who can help out with editing questions.

I suppose gifts are ussually better when self-made, anyway. Suppose you're free to ask questions how to do X or Y if you decide to try your hand at making a map.
