Sumerian Rebalance Mod

Description
This mod attempts to demonstrate a possible rebalance of Sumeria. The following changes are made:

War Carts
  • 28 strength, down from 30.
The extremely high base strength of War-Carts made them near-unstoppable early in the game.
  • No longer completely resistant to anti-mounted bonuses. Instead, has +5 strength against anti-mounted units.
An unit this early without a counter is overpowered.
  • +4 strength versus Barbarians
This change allows War-Carts to still perform at a similar level to before against Barbarian Spearmen.
  • Now counts as a Heavy Chariot replacement
Who even builds Heavy Chariots as Sumeria, anyway?

Ziggurats
  • Provides +1 science at the renaissance-era Astronomy technology.
This is to ensure the improvement is still worthwhile later in the game.

Disclaimer

This mod is more of a demonstration of an idea for a balance change rather than something that's necessarily going to be updated or expanded upon.

As someone with very little modding expertise, I will be unable to help if the mod doesn't function properly.

No DLC is required. The Rise and Fall expansion may or may not break it.

I come riding a 30 strength Warcart. Unfortunately something in this mod causes the extra units in Steel and Thunder to not get the bonuses from Matterhorn or Giant's Causeway. Thing is, I can't see why any of this would cause that. Maybe another mod combined with this? Ugh

Your code is clean. I prefer using SQL myself but not a bad job for a first time modder.
