Are you tired of the K98 having an unhistorical sight hood in early war maps? Or are you some sort of pansy who cant aim with the vanilla sight hood? Well look no further, I've got the perfect solution.

the hood was issued with the rifles although it was common to remove them to get more light on the front sight since the hood was solid rather than having cutouts like the Enfield's ears on the front sight did.

They started using front sight hoods after 1942 though
