the hood was issued with the rifles although it was common to remove them to get more light on the front sight since the hood was solid rather than having cutouts like the Enfield's ears on the front sight did.

I just tried this and despite the misleading "immersive" and "historically accurate" buzzwords on the thumbnail, I logged in and was completely appalled when I loaded a grenade launcher without needing to load a blank.
