If you use the terrain to your advantage and command from the hill, you will be able to flank the enemy with your main squad while letting the AI take the frontal assault.
Only wish I could have managed to tell one of the BMPs to climb the hill with me. From that vantage point, he could have wrecked house with his 100mm and 30mm.
Pro tip: dump most grenades and smoke grenades and grab an RPG-7 off of a fallen enemy with all the anti-personnel rockets you can and go ham.
A few ideas:
1) The briefing takes pains to mention the presence of civilians. Although there were a few in the town, there really werent that many. Adding a lot more would help improve the atmosphere of being worried about civilian casualties.
2) Another idea with the civilians is to consider maybe putting in a few "civilians" that end up being OFPOR soldiers. It is a battle against an insurgent force after all.
3) The default loadouts for my team were bad. This happens across several of your scenarios, maybe just because you use the standard loadout? In any case, my guys are all loaded down with grenades and glowsticks they will never use, and at the same time have too little ammo. When I finally won, three of my squadmates were down to their pistols. So dump the random crap and give them some more magazines.
Very fun little urban battle.
in the mission it says when I enter combat I will be given command over IFV's and more squds but I never got that option. I have killed every enemy in the objective I even activated zeus to make sure and all the enemies are dead and the mission will not end.
"steam\__cur_sp.Altis\mission/Entities/Item0/Entities/Item0.type: Vehicle class FNG_AAF_Inf_SectionLeader no longer exists"
Any idea ?
