Now you can buff your psionic cyborgs with some genetherapy! This little mod lets you choose all three tier one and one (and only one) tier two ascension path perk.

In the Free for All version, i removed the restrictions on those lovely hive minds and machine empires. Now you can assimilate and reshape inefficient organics, develope some psy emitters for our machine overlords, add cybernetics to your zergs or awaken their psy abilities so you can sense the thoughts of your dinner. The only restriction is that machine empires can not choose the flesh is weak path, since it wouldn't make any sense.

If you don't want psichonic robot or cybernetic zergs in your game here is the version witch keeps the restrictions on machine empires and hive minds:

If you turn your race into synthetics they will lose any psy abilities and you will have to use robomodding to alter their template.

Picking a 2nd tier ascension path perk will disable the other 2nd tier perks.

This mod only overwrites the ascension path perks, it should be compatible with everything that doesn't touch these, woks with mods that extend the aschension perk list.

Hi CRC_Error, Thanks for looking into that: I had thought as much about changing the flag but was indeed worried about it just being selectable from the start. I would be interested in seeing your mod but it is currently marked as privet.

Samael: i managed to make a small mod, that lets you make cyborgs after you finish the flash is weak special project, and also you can add psychic after picking transendence.

I know how to edit the ini files I already set it up the way I want. It will let me select all 3 of the perks if you want. Buf if you convert your species you lost alot of traits anyways so it is self defeating and you waste an ascension slot. way more of a punishement then being locked out. Thanks for the mod it rocks!

in \Stellaris\common\traits\04_species_traits.txt you simply switch modification = no to modification = yes, problem is you will be able to add these triats to your species from the start of the game. i check if i can set techs or ascension perks as requirements, if i succed i pst a link to the mod here

Where would one look to try to make Psionic and Cybernetic traits available for adding through genemodding after the ascension perk(s) are picked? I often play xenophile and would like to be abe to make immigrants and refugees cyborgs and/or psychics too.

Thanks for the heads up, it makes sense, also I dont convert to synthetic just cyborgs with full genetic traits and psyonic abilites.

Barry, if you start with an organic species do the synthetic ascension path first, going toaster removes any psy traits.
