No Starting Techs

Description
Start your game with NO techs! It works. Some weirdness results.

KNOWN BUG: You don't get civillian ships until you research hyperdrive. Then you have to go to ship designer, unselect auto-choose designs, and reselect it.

Plans: Make the AI not be so bad. Currently you have a massive advantage over the AI because it doesn't focus on getting itself off the ground.

I might have spoken too soon, excuse me...
At least three techs don't have a name (tech_physics_1, tech_society_1, tech_engineering_1) and every time you unpause the game 2-3 empty (no text) events pop up and pause the game for you - ad infinitum :(

Sounds like a cool mod. Sad that it's so horribly outdated and no longer works properly (at least according to other comments). If anyone knows of a similar mod, pls let me know.

Any way this is being updated for 3.0? Three blank windows pop up every day in-game.

While this is still vaguely functional under 2.6, Don't do Shattered Ring as a start. It won't go well.

broken, can't build Assault Army with this mod.

Tried it last night, It works. Obviously it causes some slight issues like Graphics for starting ships being wierd (in the empire selection screen) but everything works after). Will do a proper test later.
