I might have spoken too soon, excuse me...
At least three techs don't have a name (tech_physics_1, tech_society_1, tech_engineering_1) and every time you unpause the game 2-3 empty (no text) events pop up and pause the game for you - ad infinitum :(

Sounds like a cool mod. Sad that it's so horribly outdated and no longer works properly (at least according to other comments). If anyone knows of a similar mod, pls let me know.

While this is still vaguely functional under 2.6, Don't do Shattered Ring as a start. It won't go well.

Tried it last night, It works. Obviously it causes some slight issues like Graphics for starting ships being wierd (in the empire selection screen) but everything works after). Will do a proper test later.

This is great! sadly it seems to slow down the AI way too much... It takes forever before they expand giving you plenty of time... is it possible to make it for the player only for extra challenge?
