SDN-06 M16 Callipso Mk.II (Frigate)

An upgraded version of the Callipso Mk.I, the Mk.II has a stronger hull and shield, and a minor improvement to speed and agility. If you can build this, the Mk.I variant is probably no longer useful.

This ship has been designed for the Free Play scenario with 'Building Knowledge unlocked' and 'Max. Ship Size' options enabled at game start. It should work fine in the default scenario as well.

SDN-06 M16 Callipso Mk.III (Frigate) - Late game variant with 75k hp shield and Xanion components.
SDN-06 M16 Callipso Mk.IV (Frigate) - End game variant with 175k hp shield and Avorion components.



Due to a bug with Middle Block Snapping on sloped surfaces like Edge and Turret Edge Base blocks, specific Grid Spacing values are required on Local Snapping depending on the size of the hardpoint you are trying to mount certain size turrets to. Here is a table with the values I have used:


If any of my designs do not allow turret placement with the above Grid Spacing values on Local Snapping, please post a comment on the design's publication page as I may have forgot to update the turret edge blocks for some.
