Description
As of march 2022 this mod still works even thought the version is wrong. I just haven't bothered to update it


A simple mod that changes the "Cooked Cannibalism" thought colonists get when they eat cooked human meat. Instead of "Cooked Cannibalism" and a -20 mood buff, they now get "Strange meat" and only -5 mood buff.
Because how would they know what meat they're eating? It could just be some bad pork for all they know.


Wont conflict with any mods that doesn't alter the "Cooked Cannibalism" thought
Please let me know if you find any bugs of conflicts and I'll try my best to fix them

There is a mod just specifically for nutrient paste, Just search Mystery meat on the workshop.

can you update the mod so I can choose to turn off for meals, but leave it on for nutrient paste? I imagine human meat looks quite different from pork cooked. I wanted to do like a soylent green thing

That's a cool idea, maybe I'll look into that.
But I think one of the "Vegetable Garden" mods give you and option to mince organs into meat if I'm not mistaken
