Should still work
Will update later
Mr. Synnystr 3 Sep, 2020 @ 7:51pm
Anyone tested this with 1.2 yet?
SonoFelice 12 Mar, 2020 @ 4:04pm
Alright thanks
Fart Receiver  [author] 12 Mar, 2020 @ 3:46pm
Yes it is
SonoFelice 12 Mar, 2020 @ 2:38pm
Is it compatible with 1.0 because it doesn't have the 1.0 tag anymore
Fart Receiver  [author] 12 Mar, 2020 @ 12:44pm
Mod updated for 1.1
Should be working fine if not let me know
Stardust 🌠 18 Apr, 2019 @ 3:03am
There is a mod just specifically for nutrient paste, Just search Mystery meat on the workshop.
Biscuit 14 Apr, 2019 @ 11:05am
can you update the mod so I can choose to turn off for meals, but leave it on for nutrient paste? I imagine human meat looks quite different from pork cooked. I wanted to do like a soylent green thing
Friendly Noob 11 Jan, 2019 @ 7:37pm
it looks like you have the Bad Higiene mod and the Facial Stuff mod
Fart Receiver  [author] 25 Nov, 2018 @ 2:30am
That's a cool idea, maybe I'll look into that.
But I think one of the "Vegetable Garden" mods give you and option to mince organs into meat if I'm not mistaken
ScOwOby 24 Nov, 2018 @ 8:42pm
This is great, any chance for a table that turns organs into meat? For that extra Hannibal Lecter feel.
Nolan 14 Nov, 2018 @ 5:47am
wow. your awesome.
Fart Receiver  [author] 5 Nov, 2018 @ 11:25am
I've now changed it so that instead of completely removing the thought they will get a "strange meat" thought instead.
I tried to add the "Too smart" trait aswell but I couldn't seem to get it to work, I'll try again later

Thank you for the suggestions and I hope you like the change
Fart Receiver  [author] 5 Nov, 2018 @ 10:13am
Thanks for the suggestion.
I might add these in the future but I initially made this mod just for my own use and didn't really plan on "working" on it or changing anything at least for the time being. I lack the experience aswell

But that's not to say I might change things in the future
Nolan 5 Nov, 2018 @ 10:08am
I like your idea, one recommendation though. maybe give pawns with the "too smart" trait the ability to think somethings up with his meal, the way that trait reads to me is the guy would be paranoid type smart. I think combining this with Overgrowns suggestion would be cool, or even make a variant of this current mod to include something like that.
Ulysses 20 Oct, 2018 @ 12:34am
Thank you.
Fart Receiver  [author] 19 Oct, 2018 @ 4:30pm
There we go, should be up to date now :)
If there is any problems jsut let me know
Squidward 19 Oct, 2018 @ 1:40pm

Alex Elektroniker 29 Aug, 2018 @ 6:49am
Please, take link for B18
Hazardous 28 Aug, 2018 @ 6:58pm
it's not like the cook is bragging about that meal being made of people!
Fart Receiver  [author] 28 Aug, 2018 @ 9:35am
Updated mod for 0.19
Though it should work for previous versions regardless
Vanimur 10 Jun, 2018 @ 12:24am
Eh, just have a psychopath do it, they don't mind
Rei 20 May, 2018 @ 9:39pm
Only the butcher knows what meat he's preparing, great.
scout gaming 21 Apr, 2018 @ 8:52pm
I think there should still be a mood debuff, but it says 'Ate Strange meal' It says 'The meal I just ate was really chewy, fatty, and strange...' It gives -1 mood. Lasts 12 hours
Extinction 18 Apr, 2018 @ 5:18am
@hatty try eating a female ass and say that again😂
Commissar Blues 4 Apr, 2018 @ 7:23am
But what about the person who butchers and cooks the meat? Wouldn't they know what it is?
Bobby the Bobbady 24 Mar, 2018 @ 11:36pm
@Goldobsidian that's not quite true tho. Calorie-wise, human meat has roughly about 1/2 calorie per pound comparing to a boar meat
SauerKraus 24 Mar, 2018 @ 12:04am
@Goldobsidian human meat would have the highest nutritional value of any meats. It is literally made of the same stuff as the person eating it.
Ulysses 23 Mar, 2018 @ 3:23am
i know but can you really trust vsauce
PB 23 Mar, 2018 @ 1:48am
Human meat tastes like veal according to Vsauce.
Ulysses 18 Mar, 2018 @ 2:44am
"This meat is that of a human! Luckily I like it anyway, can't tell the others."
Ulysses 18 Mar, 2018 @ 2:43am
"This meat was a bit chewier than usual... might just be the new cook."
MiamiHurricane 15 Mar, 2018 @ 4:02pm
maybe change to ''strange meat'' moodlet thing? who is happy eating strange meat?
SirVivel 14 Mar, 2018 @ 2:03pm
Finally my killbox is usefull... btw, has someone seen my Hannibal Lector cook book..? I really need to rename my colony's cook to that. MUHAHAHAHAHAHA...
Fart Receiver  [author] 13 Mar, 2018 @ 12:34am
The positive buff is still there for cannibals. Only the negative one is removed for non-cannibals
Bistou 12 Mar, 2018 @ 8:16pm
but if my pawn is a cannibal will he still get the buff ? or its removed for everyone ?
<Insert name here> 8 Mar, 2018 @ 1:37pm
Also Kuro is primarally the result of eating brain tissue spinal fluids and bone marrow its also a disease like mad cow disease so the infected being eaten passed it on and then when that person died they too would pass it on and so on , and in the case of kuru the brains was also consumed too.being that more then one person was eating a single brain it makes sence whey it became epademic around the Fiji.
<Insert name here> 8 Mar, 2018 @ 1:26pm
well nutrition aside maby it does taste differnt but how would they know its human in origin unless they tried it before with eating human meat ( ofcourse they could get suspicius if they saw the chef butchering a corpse XD
Syrup 8 Mar, 2018 @ 8:10am
But would it not realistically lead to kuru, or brain prion disease?
Doomsday2233 8 Mar, 2018 @ 6:07am
Its really dependant on what materials the human eats over time, the more material that isnt healthy for the body, the less nutritional value the meat will have. Quite simple.
2ndNegative 8 Mar, 2018 @ 3:09am
@Goldobsidian What are you going on about man? There is no reason why human meat wouldn't be nutritious.
Goldobsidian 8 Mar, 2018 @ 2:18am
I love the idea of the mod but I want to point out a small logical flaw. Im pritty sure human meat would have a very distinct taste considering its not neutritional to supliment the human body and the fact every spieces meat tastes different to a noticeable extent
