First up, Small but important. This version has a variant built for Star Wars Blasters. it's just a prototype but it works great.

'This is the Experimental branch of the Automatic Weapon System particle that I have released on the Workshop. This version is a clone of the main release, but will be updated with experimental new particles and additional features without disrupting the existing particle and potentially messing with A lot of people's Movies. consider this the "Open Access" version of Automatic Weapon System 2.0

This is my all-in-one-gun solution for creating advanced weapon effects. This pack contains everything you need to make gun firing look awesome. These particles link together weapon firing, tracers, shell ejection , world collisions, Targetting , and many other elements to create Fast, Powerful, self synchronized weapon effects. The various particles are geared towards creating weapon effects for SFM, However the pack contains a large number of pre-set gun profiles for you to use. I will expand this number some as time goes forward. As always, please do not hesitate to reverse engineer these particles.

USERS MANUAL

The particles you want to use are named Gun_Rifle_Default, Gun_rifle_Burst , Gun Pistol Fireonce, Etc etc.



CONTROL POINT 0 : This is the barrel of the gun. Fire and death comes from here.
Muzzle Flash
Muzzle Sparks
Smoke Puffs
Thin smoking barrel streamers
Bullet start point

(PLACEMENT TIP. Put this on the end of your gun and point it forward)

CONTROL POINT 1 : Position this where you want your bullets to go. If tracers get close , impact effects will happen (* not perfectly 1 : 1 but close)

Blood impact (coming soon)

( PLACEMENT TIP . for a straight line of fire from the gun forward. Lock control pont 1 to the muzzle flare and then drag it directly forward. This is reccommended ,since this particle does not know which direction it is facing relative to the gun it is locked to. You have to do that yourself.)

CONTROL POINT 2 : Lock this to your Gun where you want the shells to come from.
Shell Ejection location / Direction

CONTROL POINT 3 : This defines the collision plane for shell casings and sparks as well as debris.
Ground collision plane (simple collision. place on ground manually.)

(PLACEMENT TIP. This creates a 2d plane which bullets and sparks will collide with. If you twist the plane, it is possible to make the Particle thinnk the ground is tilted instead of flat. if this is not what you want. Please Lock control point 3 to the world and use the procedural sliders to reset it rotation to zero. This should level it out back to flat . As for where to place it. I have only one thing to say. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE GROUND!")

Ryu-Gi's Bullet Tracer prop. (found below). This model based tracer is a fantastic solution to make bullets with some weight and bite to them.

Hey dude I need some help. Is there a way to change the firerate on any of the particles? I'm trying to use the gun blaster blue varient. But I don't like how fast it fires nore how its automatically
the color yellow instead of blue :/ can you help me out on what to do or change in the particle editor?

sorry. it was late and the way the particle editor works, this particle is bright to the point of being so white that you cant tell what color it is (on my monitor) , like I said I didnt test it, :(

The color was yellow but I was able to change it to blue within the particle editor. Besides that it was perfect! Thank you so much!!! I really really appreciate it.

I did a blue one and added it in. it is alternate 2.

I didnt test it so it might be crappy
