Alt-History Toggle (no longer updated)

Description
NO LONGER BEING UPDATED

Probably obvious by now, but people keep asking. Man the Guns added AI strategy paths to the base game, which replicate a lot of this mod's original functionality. It didn't offer quite as many options as the mod did, so I initially planned to rework the mod entirely to fit in with that system and expand it. But I found that the base game system covered *enough* of the options to mostly satisfy me, coupled with the fact I was just playing HoI4 less frequently, that I didn't really feel the impetus to update this. Currently I've no plans to do so in the future.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Want to reform the Austro-Hungarian Empire and know you'll have the German Kaiser back in power to have your back? Want to see your communist comrades triumph in Japan, so Mao can focus on the internal matters in China?
Well now you can take the randomness out of those events by dictating paths for certain AI countries. I've also tweaked the weighting so the AI should now fully commit to your chosen paths.
NOTE: This mod won't work with Historical AI focuses selected. However, you can still railroad the AI down its historical path in the country options (it just won't follow the exact focus order, but it'll end up in the same place mostly).
Mod should be compatible with multiplayer, but make sure only one player selects options as multiple players picking conflicting options could potentially block off entire branches of a country's focus tree (unless this is what you want!).
This mod isn't set up to detect what DLC you have, so don't tell the AI to pursue a DLC path, this will probably just lead to them getting stuck unable to go anywhere.
Current version: 0.6.2.1 (see the full changelog at https://pastebin.com/B7P2VBiU or check the workshop changes tab)
Current countries: Germany, Japan, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, France, Italy, Yugoslavia, Romania, India, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, Communist China, Nationalist China, Manchukuo
German translation courtesy of Tanobi (conflicts with Deutschkorrektur (German language improvements) mod). Playing in other languages, events relating to the mod default to English.
Next planned: Development (except bug fixes/compatibility) on hold until the release of Man the Guns
Some of the focus weightings for some paths don't feel quite right for countries going ahistorical and I've previously had to speed a few things up to ensure, for example, Canada turns fascist before being dragged into the war on the Allies side. If you see any countries going too slow, or any other strange behaviour from the AI going down a rare alt-history path, let me know and I'll tweak things to make them a bit more sensible.
I dunno, Alt-History Toggle (no longer updated) is pretty ambigious on whether it will get updated or not
Thank you for your service! This mod was a godsend when it first came out, and it was such a good idea that pdx had to implement its own version.
the problem is the custom game rules don't seem to work so mods like these are needed
I just realized the mod I created does exactly this, but expands on the game-rule mechanic. Check it out if you're hungry for some alt-history.
