2. Getting used to it may slightly ruin your thoughts when going back to vanilla. Since the game a has very specific feel, it feels best to getting used to the vanilla games because that's also how almost every other mod and map also uses in mind (depending on).
While it is quite fun and nice to see the increased power and firing speed stuff on all the weapons and whatnot, the problem then because when you do eventually go back to vanilla, the "slower pacing" may feel of to you since you became so used to the faster pacing that depending on, you may not want to play Serious Sam without the rpg mod.
Though on the other hand it might a divisive topic in it self.
This game-mode is quite nice and It has been fun to play through the first encounter and around half of the second encounter with it.
There is 2 major reasons I would not recommend to play this.
1. There is a bug that occurs when loading a save and a quick-save that makes the entire rpg thing to not be active at all. I did find that sometimes loading an older save file in the same play-trough would reactivate it but that of course comes at the cost of redoing sections which you already did just a few minutes ago and would preferably not go through again so it's a big annoyance.
