Description
This Mod introduces a Deluxe version of the Security Station to Surviving Mars. This replaces the 'stock' version, and is essentially identcal except that it now offers two new Upgrade options. These are unlocked from Mission start (like many of the building upgrades in the 'Tropico' series).

The first upgrade is the 'Self Reliance Unit'. This allows the Security Station to operate without external Power, and without any requirement for Maintenance. The second upgrade is 'Remote Viewing', which reduces the staff requirements of the building by 1 Officer per shift.

The Mod will not work on previous saves. On loading, your existing Security Stations will be named 'Deluxe Security Stations', but the upgrades will not be available. As such, this Mod (and other [ES] Deluxe Buildings) should be used with new games.

[KNOWN ISSUE: The Build Menu and its tooltips still list the new building as 'Security Station'. However, on selecting the building (and once constructed), it will correctly appear as a 'Deluxe Security Station' on the panel at the top-right of the screen.]

i tried the fix after the green planet update but it didn't work. i think the images are missing from the file any other ideas?

@MrShaw this isn't a problem with the mod, but a bug with SM's mod system itself. To fix, just open the mod editor, find the mod in the list, double click it to load it, save it, and then exit out.

This works for ANY mod that does this on the workshop too.

please update so i can see the picture of the building in the menu. (the icon)

@Wingnut - if you can let me know any more details about waht isn't working, I'll see what I can do. Everyone else seems to report the problems as having resolved.

I'd recommend maybe doing an unsubscribe, restarting the game without my mods loaded, and then resubscribing. You might also try a cleasn install of the game...?

@Bob / admbraden - Can you clarify what you mean by 'the icons are invisible'? As in, not apperaing in the build-menu...? And if so, how are you accessing them? Will see what I can do to fix them

Bug report for all of your Deluxe stuff mate (and lamp) as that all the icons are invisible, not noticed any other issues so far

@ErrantSword... Like all your other stuff, this thing works very well. I have been using it and your other buildings for some time now and I consider them essential if you want your colony to run smoothly. Lovley stuff. Good job!

Just FYI: security stations don't affect renegades at all. Renegade crime is prevented by "colonists with the officer specialization living in the dome." And if offiers outnumber renegades 3:1, they fail to prevent crime 100% of the time.

@Blade - That's a cool concept. I usually like keeping in-dome buildings as such for balance reasons, but the concept of a Colony Security hub is pretty cool. I suspect the code is rather complex, but I'll certainlly have a look at it.

Nice mod ES, wonder if it would be possible to make one of these that could be placed outside the dome, with a large coverage area to cover a few small domes at a time.
