Old World Blues: Arroyo Focus

Description
Presenting a submod for Arroyo in Old World Blues. This mod requires Old World Blues to function which can be found here https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1303741106

Step back into the shoes of the chosen one and lead Arroyo into the future of the wasteland.

Featuring a fully fleshed out tree for Arroyo with different options and events that let you play your chosen one.

Now also featuring companions from Fallout 2 as generals or advisors. If you'd be interested in making art in line with the OWB art for the advisors and generals please send me a message.

This mod isn't really intended to be "balanced" it makes it much easier to have arroyo be a big player in the game through the various focuses and bonuses from startup events.

Hope everyone enjoys, thanks for all the support

The mod can also be found as a part of the SASZCaS Mod Compilation! you can subscribe to that here https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1853206926 this compilation is the combined effort of a team of submodders to make their mods compatible with many other great OWB submods.

Version 1.12
Now compatible with HOI4 1.9.* and OWB 2.2.8*
Balance fixes
Expanded the Northwest Alliance tree
Added a tree for dealing with the Troll Warren and Washington after forming the New Oregon Republic
Tons of new icons for ideas and national focuses
See changelong for full details

For anyone still wondering, the mod does work (I tried it while using a lot of other mods), but the mod needs some updates and I would recommend using this mod with cheats enabled.

Believe me, it is NOT Fun. Maintaining that much content is a doozy, but I enjoy having the option to play stuff all at once.

are you updating the mod?

does it work for the new version of old world blues?

Angelblue maintains a version for that mod on their compilation (with my permission to use this as a base and proper credit given of course). I would consider the Old World Blues Expanded+ to be the best place to grab a 3.X compatible version of this mod currently. There's a couple other forks out there but I believe they're all equally or more out of date than this one. Big props to Angelblue too as I believe they maintain all of the mods in that pack by them selves.

Aaaah, yeah looks like best to call it quits then. Still, been able to play it through Old World Blues+ for whatever reason, so I'm still enjoying.

On the old roadmap the Arroyo update was actually slated for 3.1 but was pushed back to be more fully developed as part of the update to the whole California region. From older talks with a few of the devs I had actually expected it to be out already but I think their design philosophy changed a bit with 3.0 regarding updates. Currently I would expect it to be sometime late 2021 or early 2022 which coincides with me finishing my degree this December.
There's a chance (a small one) that I have time to work on it this summer, in which case I probably would consider it worth it to update still. It depends on what happens regarding some internships I'm up for.
