IMP Mars MNI-01 (Modded)(Borrowed Hull)

The Mars heavy fighter was first utilized by Martian Nationalists during the Solar Conflicts. Created by Martian Nationalist Industries, it was designed to turn the tide of the war in the Martian's favor, after the navy of Earth proved to be too much for them. Serving through the Conflicts, eventually being refitted with magnetic shields, and being used by the Solar Alliance for some time after, they have proven to be very capable multi-role starfighters.

Upon reciving the news of this fighters existance, our engineers strongly recomended the, aquisition, of the crafts original blueprints. Once, retreved, only three primary modifications were made.

First, the reactors were replaced with modern fusion systems, and extra shield cores were installed in the freed up space.

Second, the chafs were replace with in-flight reloadable versions.

Third, the nose mounted machine guns were upgraded to faster firing versions.

The legendary guided missiles remain unaltered.
