Pretty Good Forge of Advanced Training by Sirosis

Description
Sirosis' beloved character trainer/equipper, itself made from a combination of Nigel Kearney's Forge of Wonders, Styzygy's Pretty Good Character Creator, and GreatInca's Halls of Advanced Training, has been rescued from the dusty recesses of the Neverwinter Vault and given new life on Steam. This module features everything you need to build a character however you'd like, customize their weapons and items (including appearance and properties), load them up with stacks of cash, and send them charging into the adventure of your choice.

Is it cheating? Perhaps. Is it a fundamental, indispensable part of the Neverwinter experience? You bet your bippy it is.

[Edit: CursedNecrosis has observed that this module doesn't contain ALL the features of GreatInca's Halls of Advanced Training Deluxe. If you'd like some variety among your character trainers and want to take advantage of that module's PVP arena, monster arena, and other features, check out Halls of Advanced Training Deluxe over here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1359164957&searchtext=]

Just a note, in case others hit the same issue I did. The module showed in the content, but I couldn't start it due to it being "Unavailable". If you are on linux, this mod has a filename ending in ".Mod" rather than the correct ".mod". Case matters in linux, so just rename the file, and it works fine after that.

Okay this is a problem i'm having with a few modules now, not everything shows up in community content when i go to start a new game, am i doing something wrong or is it just not installing this module?

I did find one minor problem with the forge. I am unable to add 'Greater Restoration' to an item as it seems to be programmed to add 'Restoration'. I still love this module for character creation.

All I did was install the CEP2 and Pretty Good Forge (by simply subscribing to both via Steam), and they both function just fine.

Open NWN:EE, then go to New Game > Community > Steam Workshop > Pretty Good Forge

P.S.(Neverwinter Nights EE version).

A small NB: IF that still does not work then go to NWN Vault again and grab the .exe file (this one) :-

https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/hakpak/combined/cep-v1x-installer

Install that into you NWN folder (in documents) and then it'll work but the previous meathod should work as it did for me.

Ok guys when i subscribe to this mod via steam workshop, for some strange reason it does NOT show up in the games menu, i have tried various workarounds and nothing doing, so for anyone else who has this same probelm, here is what you do,:-

On the workshop page for the game search for CEP, & on the first couple of rows you will see 3 different CEP's, subscribe to them all. (NB: the CEP's do work via workshop).

Once that is done, what you do is go over to NWN Vault :- https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/module/pretty-good-forge-advanced-training

Grab it there, install it direct to you documents NWN module folder (DO NOT un-zip to desktop or anywhere else it MUST be a DIRECT from zip to folder) and the module (when you check after) will be there and WILL shop up on the LOCAL tab after you click start new game.

Voilà, Happy NWN-EE gaming.

where and how do I access this place, I am on Windows if that helps

There are still quite a few arcane spell scrolls missing from the arcane store merchant - for example I couldn't find Mestil's acid sheath. I recommend checking against the wiki to get full lists for respective classes https://nwn.fandom.com/wiki/Wizard#Spells

Naturally I'd also appreciate the change of file suffix from Mod to mod. I can hotfix it, but it would be greatly appreciated for next installs :)

Otherwise, good mod!

Okay, figured out how to turn around (it's been YEARS since I've played NWN...). :-)

Napamathguy, most of the interesting stuff is going to be on the other side of the door that's immediately behind your character when you load up the module.
