It makes a lot of UI Diplomacy mods compatible with each other. There is a list of mods it works with over there.
I have not tried it yet, but looks good.
I don't know what you mean by "categories".
Must be a mod conflict you have.
Don't tell people not to download this, which is one of the best mods on the workshop, with no evidence.
i tried being as much to the corner as possible and other positions, it just shows the information and not the relationship, except Hammurabi
Also, if you have ? portraits while the Civ you are playing is selected, that must be another mod showing them. That likely interacts with this mod to give you your bug #2.
In my games, those portraits don't even appear until I've met the Civs.
The corner is sometimes picky where you cursor over.
I think your cursor is not quite in the right place.
Try the corner of the square the circular portrait is in.
