D13 Leveled Items Upgrade - Dragonborn Expansion

Description
Hi Guys

This file is expansion to my original mod D13 Leveled Item Upgrade

IF YOU DECIDE TO USE THIS VERSION PLEASE UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THE ORIGINAL MOD OR THE SKYRIM ONLY VERSION

More options available on Skyrim Nexus[skyrim.nexusmods.com] within 24 hours if you are interested :)

Now the Unique Leveled Items from vanilla Skyrim and Dragonborn DLC can Finally level up :)

I got sick and tired of the fact that the first quest line I followed was the thieves guild quest and at the end I got a super awesome Nightingale armor and weapons only to find out that they could have been even better but because I picked them up on low level they are now totally *pup* items.

Well this mod fixes that problem. It adds a Hammer Of Experience into Skyrim. It is pretty easy to create. All you need is:
Fire wood
Iron Ingot
And Full Grand Soul Gem.

You will have to create this Hammer for every time you wish to upgrade a Unique Leveled item. That is the cost of Leveling up your favourite weapon or armor. And it also makes it a little bit difficult for all your leveled items to be the highest levels unless you are REALLY trying.

How does it work:
Every hammer will only let you level the item by its one level. So if you found Chillrend on level 5 and on level 50 you will decide you want it to have a full power you will have to upgrade it five times before it will be on your maximum. If you decide to do it sooner, lets say level 35 you will have to upgrade it three times before your current maximum. When you hit level 36 you can do another upgrade. You will have to create this hammer for every single level of any item you wish to upgrade. Enjoy ;)

These are special recipes and to save a LOT of space in the crafting menu as it is nearly 80 new recipes, they will show them selves to You ONLY if you'll have the leveled item (armor, weapons, clothing) in your inventory and reach required level as per Leveled items list see wiki[www.uesp.net] to keep the game balanced.
Each time you will level the item using the Hammer of Experience, it will upgrade the item only to the next level so If you for example find Chillrend on level 12 and at level 45 you will decide you would like to have that sword on maximum you will have to Level it up three times before it will be on your maximum. Once you hit level 46 you can level it one more final time :)

The ONLY place where a Leveled items can be upgraded is the Skyforge[www.uesp.net] as that is the place where the Legends are born :)

Does this work with items you've improved via workbench/grindstone? I've got low level Nightingale armor that's improved with Void Salts, but doesn't show up on the list at the Skyforge when I've got an available Hammer of Experience.

thanks, I simply can't understand how bethesda allowed leveled unique items to pass.... choosing to not use my favorite items for like 75% of my characters playthrough, just so it wont be a shittier version of itself when i finally get it... is just pure distilled garbage. this mod makes the game so much better!

I always forget to watch the videos. Thanks D13, great mod.

@Ides Of March, You need to go back to Skyforge, once the hammer is created and you have reached the required level, the possible upgrades will be in their respected rathegory EI. Chillrend in Glass, Nightingale blade and bow in Ebony etc. It is clearly shown in the first video preview. Also Mehruned Razor is not a leveld item so what you have is the max you will ever have. http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Leveled_Items . You should be able to sharpen it however. I have not chaged any values in realtion to the Mehrunes Razor. GL and Have :steamhappy:fun

Please could you tell me how I should use these hammers? I'm at the Skyforge with the leveled weapons I want to upgrade, specifically the Nightingale Blade and Mehrunes' Razor, and have made a hammer: How do I apply it? Clicking on it in my inventory's Misc. section gives me a 'this item cannot be equipped' message. I can't find any relevant entry on the Skyforge menu or using the grindstone next to it. Thanks.

@reichertstephen There are no leveled items in Dawnguard. Google is your friend. ;)
reichertstephen 6 Nov, 2015 @ 8:16am
You specifically reference Dragonborn, but what about Dawnguard? Are the leveled items from there compatiple with this mod?
ExplodingLobster 16 Sep, 2015 @ 10:55am
Can you create the hammers at any forge? or do you need to make the hammers at the skyforge as well?
