Strategy Map Pieces

Description
This is a set of strategy map pieces, designed to make large strategic maps easier to manage. The pieces are also useful to decorate campaign maps for RPGs. The colliders are made so that character tokens (or army markers) can still be placed on top of them.
The Hexagon rings are meant to provide an easy way to change ownership of certain areas by adding color to them.
If you want to use them, lay down the rings first, then add cities, roads, rivers, etc.

Currently included:

Village, Town, Large Town, City, Large City, Metropolis in the following variants:
- No specialisation
- Port
- Industrial
- Fortified

Fortification

Camps in various sizes

Forest
- Coniferous
- Leaf
- Mixed

Mountain

Road / River
- Straight
- Curve

An example on how to use the pieces is supplied on the table.

I'm sorry but I think your map is broken

Schockmetamorphose, technically it should be easy to make that version. May I ask what game you need them for?

Can one get such pieces for a quadratic map tiling?

Mr. Cloggington, the map is from https://www.redblobgames.com/maps/mapgen2/

Just curious, what program did you use, if any, to make the map on this?

So, these 3D printable hexes have a lot of detail so they come out nice out of the printer. But they can be reduced in detail easily. But as I said, you would only have one or two colors per tile, unless you want to color them. For me this is too much work since I won't be using these. Since they have a non-commercial license I also can't take money for doing this.

But as I said, I can teach you how to import them yourself. Fairly easy, not that many steps. Your choice.

Marvl101, should be possible. The question is whether they will look as nice without color. I'll take a look later. Also, I could teach you how to import them. Basic models without color map are easy. All you need is Blender 2.79.

Think you could port over these hexes?

They're from the old Mighty Empires tabletop game from Games Workshop and they are pretty cool.

there are also some 40k themed ones called "Planetary Empires"
