The goal was to have the most firepower in a small heavily armoured frame that has fairly strong offroad abilities. It's not built for dropship deployment for it is its own dropship complete with jump drives.

Also, it should have a way onto the roof (As should all future rovers), that way, the Drop Ship V2, with an entrance on the bottom, can be used to get onto it!
