When the idea of building such a massive rover built around a MGV was first proposed people thought the designers were going mad but as the demand for larger and more advanced rovers increased the idea of building the YETI I.R. seemed to be reasonable. With that approved two prototypes were to be built but due to shortages in gravity components only one was completed.

YETI was thought to have been lost on its 18th 12-month deployment on the unexplored and volatile region of space only known as Beta 5 which was know for only two things; being a platinum-rich planet and the accompanying moon for being extremely hostile. Despite this a few captains of cargo freighters have sworn they have seen YETI jumping between asteroids.



YETI is the crown jewel of EXTREMIS SHIPYARDS rover division and is decked out with all the bells and whistles. The first of its kind to incorporate a MGV (Mining Gravity Vortex) to assist ground crews on moons and asteroids. Capable of docking 12 small ships and supporting a full time crew of 12. YETI has a fairly respectable defensive capabilities but it is recommended to have a couple of fighters to provide air support.



YETI being as large as it is requires the use of two wyvern heavy dropships to get it off of a planet with 1g of gravity. Anything higher than 1g is currently unknown due to the loss of the only YETI prototype.
