This add-on adds a bountiful amount of Antlions, Antlion Guards & other NPCs, each with their own unique abilities

There are a total of...

antlions_patrol (Enabled)
Enable & disable Antlions to patrol.

antlions_mechanized_antlion_shutdown (Enabled)
Enable & disable Mechanized Antlion to shutdown if it hasn't found enemies for more than 3 minutes.

antlions_mechanized_antlion_disable_thumpers (Enabled)
Enable & disable Mechanized Antlion to power off thumpers.

antlions_disable_music (Disabled)
Turns off the music that plays when spawning the Antlion Emperor, Antlion Empress and when they die.

antlion_emperor_sneaking (Disabled)
Enable & disable Antlion Emperor BETA sneaking ability.

NOTE: Results may vary when using this feature as some may experience some quirks with the Antlion Emperor's AI when enabled.

Update 2.0

The biggest update to ever happen to the add-on, thanks to Zach88889.

The amount of changes we've made actually hit the character limit on Steam a quarter of the way pasting it, oops.

1. Antlions will not function as intended if the map is missing Ground AI Nodes. (NavMesh are not nodes)


Answer #1: Mount Half Life 2: Episode 2 onto Garry's Mod.

NOTE: Half Life 2: Episode 2 is required.

Answer #2: Download the required Episodic Fix add-on. If that does not fix it, then you might have an add-on that has added it's own animations to the game or modified the existing ones, and as such, they are the reason why the animations may be incorrect or broken.

Answer #2: Depending on where the Antlion spawned, it could spawn in walls and/or displacements; displacements are essentially hills. This has been a common problem in Garry's Mod for a while now, and our add-on tries to prevent this by adding multiple safeguards if in case it happens by killing the Antlion immediately. Thankfully, the June 2022 Garry's Mod Update patches this problem very effectively, but both of the solutions are not perfect and it could happen again. To prevent this, try spawning the Antlion in a more flat area where there are less hills.

NOTE: These add-ons above are customizable and you could disable the features that alter the AI of the Antlion, Antlion Workers & Antlion Guards, but we cannot guarantee that our add-on will work as intended.

- Vulture Antlion does not work in Multiplayer
- Mechanized Antlions are afraid of the Manhacks for some reason.
