we need an addon that allows us to easily make custom Antlions NOW.

i have a antlion idea i might make it on my own tho i hope u can make but if u dont i will itl be bad tho a spore antlion if u get hit ur slowly die u will turn into a spore anltion if it gets to more anlions thos antlions will turn into more spore antlions so thay spread very fast

Antlion workers looks like default antlions. And it's not because EP2 content is not installed

@pame.tejada.i Make sure you have EP 1 just in case, verify your game and make sure there are no addons conflicting with models or animations

I cant see the antlion worker model and i have hl2 episode 2 content and the episodic npc model fix

i have ep2 enabled and the models for the antlion workers are just reskinned normal antlions

@RedbearisAwsome You need to have Half Life 2: Episode 2 and download the mods dependency.

Help me creator i cant see the antlion worker models its just using the normal antlion models how to fix??

@AgentX1313 You are missing HL2: Episode 2

the empress has no texture and the empress larvae is just a error

you need the episodic model fix, otherwise it wont work, altough i recommend turning it off when youre not using the antlions mod because it conflicts with a hella lot of addons

The Antlion Worker dont look like workers. They only look like normal ones. I have episode 2 mounted.

the antlion workers arent actually antlion workers but normal antlions, and yes, i have episode 2.

antlion brutes or whatever they were called cause errors when coming out of the ground about something relating to if the player is in water or not. they also all spawn below the floor much much more commonly than regular antlions

The vulture antlion can sometimes spawn ERRORS when it tries to spawn a bone. not like the lua Errors but the Red ERROR

@Vxider That's good to hear, while the Episodic Fix isn't required, it's helpful as some animations don't play correctly depending on a handful of factors without it.

it works really good without it, just tested

I might try and use this addon without the episodic model fix, as that addon sometimes breaks some stuff. I'll see if it works later

I like the feature that makes it more realistic which is the egg laying, because it is basically what antlions do. I dont think they have live birth, because they are more close to reptiles and amphibians, both of which lay eggs most of the time.

I like How people just add models of the og antlions and just change thier size and color and thier health and call it an addon

@ryanbailes06 Yes, there was a turret at one point, but there was model conflicts that were happening when the Mechalion died that caused massive lag when you spawned and killed multiple Mechalions, so the turret had to be removed. Lore wise, the explosives come from some device shooting from the carapace.

hey dobbi I remember the last time I had this mod before I download again I remember that the Mechalion used to have a turret now every since you updated it it shoots out a invisblie missle

@Puggles That 's because you don't have Half Life 2: Episode 2 mounted on Garry's Mod. if you can't get the game or can't figure out how to mount it, there are a handful of addons on the workshop that supply the textures.

one problem, i cant see the texture on the empress and cant see some of the antlions, how do i fix that, another mod?

Actually, I think I solved it maybe. It could actually be because of the episodic model fix because I disabled that and it works like a charm.

@John Xina I'm not sure what would cause that but it could be that the addon, Garry's Mod or Half Life's installation is corrupt but once again, not sure. I've never heard of that problem before, let me know if you solve it, I'd love to know.

It does it with any antlion actually including the basic ones.
