Typus Orbis Terrarum Partial

Description
TOTP for CK2 Plus: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1402893253.

Compatibility: 3.3
Savegame compatible (You can use savegames from the vanilla game with this mod, but you CANNOT use savegames from this mod with the vanilla game. )
EU4 converter compatible
NOT compatible with mods that modify the map.

"The name, "Typus Orbis Terrarum" roughly translates to "The Form of the World" in English. It was the name of the first map made by the Flemish cartographer, Abraham Ortelius, published in 1564. Ortelius was the creator of the first modern atlas, as well as the first person to propose the theory of continental drift. The original purpose of this mod was to create a new map that corrects the some of the more egregious geographical distortions in the "form of the world" of the vanilla" -- bizarcasm

This mod is basically a more accurate map compared to the vanilla one. It features the area included in the vanilla game, plus part of Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. Note that no new provinces are added. I include Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia just in case that the devs decide to add provinces in those areas in the future.

Features:

A completely new map projection, the Braun Stereographic Projection.

A completely new heightmap, based on NASA satellite imagery.

Completely re-done coastlines. All coastlines have been redrawn by hand. Referenced from mostly from Google maps, but also from historical maps in cases where the coasts have dramatically changed.

A completely new terrain map.

Completely re-done rivers.

The original mod is Typus Orbis Terrarum for EU4 by bizarcasm: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=403025031&searchtext=typus.

The conversion from the original mod to CK2 is Typus Orbis Terrarum FULL for CK2 by Brahguy (which is compatible with 2.7 but obsolete now): https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=555140251.

If you have any bugs to report, just comment down below and I will check the comments periodically.

@John Lennon
The map of CK2+ is vastly different from the vanilla game so there's no easy way to get this mod to work with CK2+. I don't have time to work on it unfortunately.

Is there any way to get this to work with CK2+? I got one working on an older version but it crashes

Hey Ian, sorry to be a bother,
seeing as you are quite busy I've decided to try my hand at updating this mod to the 3.3.X patches and sending it to you. Sadly, while I've already done 99% of the work, an annoying bug keeps cropping up with provinces.bmp. I'd really appreciate if you could contact me so I could transfer my work to you, and to hopefully clear up the bugs I may have created.
If it'd be more convenient for you, you can contact me on the paradox forums as well, where I use the exact same alias.

Love the mod but take care of yourself first.

Hi guys I'm sorry for keeping you waiting but school is extremely busy now so I probably won't be able to update this until late December.
