Description
A rogue group of turrets has captured the test subjects, forcing them to do tests that are seriously, like, the worst. It's time for you to get MAD AS HELL and not take it anymore.

Difficulty: medium/easy, 10-20 minutes.

Bonus Challenge: Complete the map destroying all 13 turrets.

Super Bonus Challenge: Complete the map without destroying any turrets.

NOTE: This is an accidental republish of my Recalcitrant map, the third map in my workshop. It has some improvements compared the original, mostly to avoid unintended solutions. So... sorry for the redundancy, there's a glitch and I can't fix it, so now there are two Recalcitrants. Lame, but, what'll you do.

I remember parts of this map so I'm pretty sure I played the other one. I also have had that problem of two maps with the same name. I had fun killing all those turrets and bouncing around behind the scenes. Took me forever to figure out using the white gel. Ikept looking for a button to change the panel over the funnel. Duh. Good looking map and a good puzzle to boot. Thanks and I'll see ya round the workshop.

Here's my blind playthrough. http://bisqwit.iki.fi/kala/ptal2/mitchmcwiggins-recalcintrant-blind-by-bisqwit.zip To watch, subscribe to your own map, place these files (the .dem from inside the .zip) in your "steamapps/common/portal 2/portal2" directory, and then you can use the "playdemo recalcitrant" console command in Portal 2 to watch my playthrough. There are seven parts; you need to use playdemo for each part to watch them. The total runtime is about 34 minutes. I did kill all turrets, but I did cheat for last five.
This test was seriously quite 'meh', what with its linearity, but I did like some details in it, so it's an upvote.

This is a really cool map I like the concept heaps and it even has a back story. The first part was quite good took me a bit of time to see what was going on and even longer to find the portalable surface gel at the end . The bit where you had to redirect the funnel then put the companion cube in first then the reflector cube really got me too. I was trying to stand on the elevating platform and portal the companion cube onto the button for a good couple of minutes.

Overall a thoroughly enjoyable chamber and i hope you might play one of mine and have as much fun as i did in yours. Thanks :)

Okay, just finished! Very fun, and surprisingly epic, with that cavernous underchamber ! :-)

Lots of fun things to do, fairly sequentially, and I found that I was able to do those things -- something I always appreciate in a level! Thumbs up!

For my #F4F, can you try my level -- Save the Cube, Kill the Turrets v2 ?

It's large in size, but I think it goes pretty quickly once you see what you're trying to do.

Just started the level. There seem to be more than 13 turrets in here...? I've killed 6 already, and I can see at least 9 more...?

Anyway, so far, so good! :-)
