"After so very long, it has become apparent to us that the universe has spun out of control... The younger races warring more viciously with eachother and new more dangerous foes unveil themselves time and time again. As a race we must be honest, we are losing our grasp on this galaxy, and its inhabitants only grow more hateful of their old creators. As illogical as it is, we must prepare, however this time we shall not hide, we shall push forwards unto the void and crush all who oppose us, the younglings may be smart but they lack foresight and wisdom, a mistake they will pay for dearly."
As the Cold Fusion Gods began preparing they started back up their old labs, all their equipment and machinery. The things they once cherished when they were younger and more fair. They began to work, their legacy at stake, and their future apparent. As they worked and toiled they found things thought impossible by the younger races, things that broke their laws and shattered common beliefs, the most ancient and longest lasting source of power in the universe. What the scientists sought was within their grasps, dark matter theory, zero point energy, the universe itself...
And of course just as they had feared, the younger races figured out very quickly that the gods had seemingly pulled back, and stopped the fighting. Taking advantage of this new silence they retook planet by planet, and shattered the grip the gods once had on their galaxy. The gods were surprised in this new power, a race much older, something much more terrible than anything they had previously encountered. Something not of their design. When this new foe struck, it did so swiftly and terrorized the gods as an equal rival. But before long the gods had finished their work and began to build their new fleets, mobilizing as many as they could and taking advantage of the power of blackholes themselves, launching their civilization to the next stage as they contended for galactic control once more. Their courage and motivation reborn for all to bear witness...

~About them
The zero point energy gods are the latest in the CFG line, and the last iteration. They carry many of the same lovely weaponry, and some new bullet hell options for maximum damage. Also now boasting 3 hull types providing style and tons of armor (only comes in scale 1-2). Their main features (for anyone who has never heard of CFG) are fast, OP ships with a hell of a lot of bullets to offer. They only use cannons so do not fear your bullet lust will be satisfied I promise. Their ships also feature something new, carrier components/decks, capable of launching fighters and small cruisers for warfare that expire in a time frame similar to drones. And dont worry about the wreckage it will detonate if the ship is not already killed in battle to prevent any unnecessary lag. ZPEG also now features planet variety, as in different types of planets rather than the same old one. Many of these ships range heavily in sizes and shapes, but all have one general aesthetic that is my best I could offer. Please enjoy. ~Floof
