Description
[FULLY VANILLA]
The ASM Tsunami class carrier fills a vital role in the navy. If well ASM doesnt use fighters too much, the carrier class can still fullfill another vital role: that of a mothership. As a carrier the Tsunami can move dozens of mining, welding and grinding ships. It can refine and assemble resources faster than any other navy ship to date. This means that, even if fighters dont play a big role in ASM tactics nowadays, carriers can still be seen as flagships of its larger battlegroups.

The Tsunami has seen a long development, with numerous redesings as the requirements changed. Its final form can support 8 fighters, 4 heavy bombers, a planetary dropship (Astarte dropship) and up to 12 drones (standard complement)

As a carrier, this is not a ship meant to engage in direct combat. As such, its turrets are arranged in point defense positions, protecting the carrier from long range fire in conjuction to its escorts. Ideally the Tsunami would never be attacked at all, but it still packs a decent punch to deal with small ships, and its size alone makes it a powerful enemy.

Notes:
This ship has a really large crew area. If well some may see it as a waste, it is located in the space between the hangars and the external hull, which was there mainly for its conveyors.

The crew is expected to modify the hangar layout to fit ships that may not be able to use the connectors provided.
The ship has an external bridge and a CIC. Main controls are in the CIC.

This is the largest ASM ship to date (not true, im still hiding the big boys ;) ). The Borrasca fleet tender fills the same role on a smaller (more survival plausible) scale: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1406370134

Do tell me if something is wrong/missing. This is a rather large ship so i may have overlooked something

I love this ship, I built a massive ship printer using Gabriella's Adaptation for Welder Radius mod, an advanced rotor, loads of conveyor junctions and a welder spaced every second junction. When the bottom was built I rebuilt it higher and built the top half, I had to grind a few turrets off here and there due to hit box issues and finish some of it off by hand and after 2 days off messing around she was finished. Since I had built your Nevada Class corvette previously I thought they needed a new home https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1640337495 , I hope you approve .
