Mortar Bombard & Explosive Bombs

Description
This is an expansion for the Bombard Cannon mod. It adds the Mortar Bombard cannon and Bombs

What it adds:

-Mortar Bombard: This is a short barrel length cannon with a huge caliber

-Impact bomb: This bomb will explode on impact. It is triggered when shot or you can arm it manualy

-Fused bomb: This bomb will explode after x time. You can set the fuse time and manualy light it or shoot it

Features of the bombs:
-Chain reaction: Any bombs will set of other bombs if close enough
-pushes anything closeby away
-Damage to any nearby large and small blocks
-massive damage to nearby players
-realistic simulation of explosion (will cause lag if you explode a lot at a time)

For survival: The new items are unlocked in the same research as the bombard cannon mod.
The bombs are extremely expensive ! You can shoot dummy bombs for aiming. Most components will have a description of where to make them. The bombs are "filled" in the millstone. Empty shells make in the forge

It is fixed. Thank you for reporting this. It was caused by a change I made for the other newer explosives and it broke these old ones.

Currently the bombs do not explode for me. Script fail message says

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
at Pax.Cannons.MyPAX_MortarBomb.CreateExplosiveDummy()
at Pax.Cannons.MyPAX_MortarBomb.Explode(Int64 deltaMillis)

Didn't actively change anything since last it worked, so dunno what happened. I know my harddrive has issues, so it may be something happened to cause it on my end if you can't find the issue.

Haven't had this issue, I guess you can try adding blocks to the back

I thought so, but even wheeled carriages have this problem with the mortar. Not the Cannons themselfs.

Use the bronze cannons, they work much better. If you want to use the bombards, I really recommend building a wheeled carriage for them, it makes them much less glitchy than when the full cannon collider is touching the ground. It's Keen physics bugs that were never fixed and never will be.

Another question, it seems when we fire a cannon on a ship it has the possibilty to crash, anyway to fix that aswell?

When the Cannon is Dynamic, and able to move around, when you load it the bombs/projectiles seem to glitch out the back, or glitch into it then launch forwards. Anyway to fix this?

ive tried that and it seems to be way to heavy for the catch blocks to move it
