I feel that there should be a newer taxi to replace this one, so if possible, could you perhaps make another taxi with a more 2000s look (you could make a Crown Victoria Taxi or something similar as an example), as the user below stated there was nothing to replace it after the 1950s and there only being a limit of time to buy them.

@modelcitizen Huh, interesting. I've never made a mod so I don't know why it would act the way it did. Personally, I'd like a taxi of that size being able to handle about four people.

It's an absolutely beautiful little thing, but there's nothing to replace it once this one gets old. I have about a hundred of them running around now but come the 1950s or so, I'm going to have to get rid of all my taxi routes.

@ bernardrtrubowitz - I'm a bit confused as to why the capacity went up to four. In the .mdl file there's only two spots allotted to this vehicle to carry passengers. You can test it out, but you only should see two maximum. As far as the platforms becoming overloaded, I can't say. When I make a mod, I put it in the game, test it, and if everything looks good, I put it on the Workshop and start another. I hardly ever get to play with my mods.

Wow , that mod makes quite a difference! I've got an auto-balance mod as well, but it didn't seem to handle the costs. It also doesn't change the vehicles already in the game (outside of the depot, I mean), so I'll probably play with this in a new save. But the taxi went up to 4 people, so that worked! Have you had any trouble with platforms becoming overloaded with the mod you suggested? It looks like it has that capability.

@ bernardrtubowitz - The one I'm using is the "Read capacities - vanilla system costs". So far, I've had no problems. It may make your vehicle costs go up, but there's a mod for that too. I'd say just experiment.

Ah, I see! I've avoided using one because many say they will conflict with other mods; any suggestions by chance?

Thank you again!

@bernardrtrubowitz - I took a look in the depot on a fresh install of the game. And there it was, just like you said. Capacity 1. That's when I remembered the un-modded game cuts the capacity of all vehicles ( I think) by 75%. That's why we're seeing capacity of one. That's why there's always empty seats on buses and trams, etc. You need a capacity adjuster mod from the workshop. I've been using one for so long now that I had forgotten about it. I think there are several so you can take your pick. That should fix it.

@modelcitizen - Correct, the depot selection shows a capacity of 1.

Thank you for taking a look!

@bernardrtrubowitz - I'll have to think on this. Nothing else comes to mind. Are you saying that when you view the taxi in the depot selection it shows a capacity of one. Right now, I don't have the game installed (new computer) but I will take a look in the next few days.
