Description
No route too perlious, no cargo too heavy, the Convoy is always ready to ship your goods.

The Convoy focuses on armor and precision to get the job done. Their wedge-shaped ships are heavy, but durable, aiming to outlast the opponent. Convoy ships are armed with long-range, high-velocity weapons to drive off pirates and other aggressors before they can close the distance. Their strengths also reveal their weaknesses, however. Convoy ships have a difficult time maneuvering, and have a low top speed. Convoy weapons are also more suited to eliminating smaller, unshielded threats, as their overall damage is low. Because of this, the Convoy is never out to pick a fight with other factions, and will only ever fight for self-defense.

Key Features:
Defensive Playstyle - Precision weapons and area-of denial weapons allow you to set up before each fight.
High Survivability - Extra health on standard hull parts, armor, and VIP armor.
Integrated Thrusters - All thrusters are Adapter-shape, allowing you to build them right into the hull.

Primary Equipment:

Burst Cannon - The staple of Convoy weapons. Fires a quick volley of high-velocity rounds, good for neutralizing fighters and other small craft.
Limpet Mine - A defensive mine that rapidly accelerates at targets within it's arming distance. Large area of effect, but low yield.
Marksman Cannon - A charging, long range weapon primarily reserved for larger targets.

Ship Types:

Escort-Class: The workhorse of the Convoy fleet. Primarily equipped with Marksman Cannons, these ships provide fire support for the fleet.
Vanguard-Class: The advance guard of each fleet, bristling with Burst Cannons.
Auction-Class: Heavy-duty freighters, hauling cargo from destination to destination.
Sealed-Class: Support carriers that can repair other ships and launch heavy fighters.
Unsealed-Class: Experimental ships that tend to break from the Convoy's usual design norms.

This faction has a beautiful building matrix, but also has fatal flaws.
The worst hull and armor in the game, which makes it necessary to conduct long-range combat with the support of combat drones.
At the same time, the guns are sorely lacking in damage, while the main guns condense energy for a long time for a shot.
The firing range of the main guns makes it necessary to conduct melee combat even against the original game factions.
Worst drones in the game. They are absurdly weak in every way.
Their effectiveness is questionable even against this same faction.

Recommendations for improving the mod:
Increase the firing range and damage of guns.
Power up the drones so they can deal and absorb significant damage.
Speed ​​up shield charging and durability.

The mod needs serious analytical work of the author so that the faction of this mod can adequately compete not only with the original factions of the game, but also with at least some popular factions from custom modifications.

the no regen part makes this faction useless as a player faction. you cant even switch ship design because no regen means ships cant metamorhpasize....

Buddy i think you've gone overboard with the "no regen" part. Sure it's a cool feature but i think when you cant even get back parts with healing lasers is when you've gone too far, because the lasers need atleast something regening to rebuild it.

Firstly for ship design and colors... this is a mod seller, one of the best visuals on reassembly mods. And you loocking at it and thinking: wow it would be nice! I'll play it! But as good you visuals as ugly most of other...
1. You have no stations, ok its a feature. We can live with that. But if lack of selfregen is not your mistake, it's weird. It may be a hardcore feature if you got a shield, and lots of strong sides of mod. Else its stupid.
2. Weight to thrust ratio of your engines are too weak, even for armored ships with defensive gameplay.
3. 2-6 sec for cannon charge is rediculous, make them slow to recarge... whith a slow ship every, even largest one enemy, will be in your close range in this time, so unusable.
4.5.6.... for the rest: beams with splash looks ugly, mines a useles, half of drones too. Flack defence gun with 8dmg points? Have you ever seen the average rocket HP?
As the result we have a great loocking unplayble dummy fration

Looks pretty good, but the ships don't regenerate. Also I feel like the weapons are a tad underpowered. Other than that, very nice

This is a really cool mod, i suggest you add ports/factories that attatch to astroids kind of like the bees.
