Description
Starter base, (BA-Class 1, Player level 5)

Role: Starter base, Inexpensive, Hangar, Solar, Farm, Crafting, HV/SV storage

The Far Point Outpost is a low cost starter base with a lot of function. It features solar energy, hangar, 32 grow plot farm (Grow plots not included), 3 landing pads, crafting, 360 degree defense, and storage. It is built with concrete for the exterior and wood for the floor and interior keeping this very inexpensive and quick to build vs it's size. It has extra room available for adding medical stations, etc. It also has switchable grow lights(Off by default), and automated lighting and doors through out to save on power useage. It comes with 2 constructors, armor locker, O2 sealed and dispensor, 12 large storage boxes, and everything available at player level 5.


Features summary:

1. Unlocks at player level 5
2. Inexpensive, requires no rare materials except 4 cobalt (Hangar doors), and quick build time.
3. 2 constructors, 3 fridges, armor rack, 12 large storage boxes, 1 ammo box, cooking station
4. 32 Grow plot farm (Grow plots not included)
5. Clone Chamber
6. Solar energy + Backup generator.
7. Decent sized hangar
8. Oxygen and o2 dispensor
9. Four Canon turrets for 360 degree defense.
10. 3 landing pads, front, back, side, and roof access

Update 6/30/18 - Fixed issue with "Forbidden block/wrong version" error. I realized I was still using the experimental version of the game and saving it in that version caused the error. I have backed off that version of the game, resaved it and updated the workshop now. The error should be gone. Thanks all who gave me heads up on this. I had no idea.

I just reinstalled yesterday, all of the old blueprints are not really compatible with the current updates, its quite easy to make bases work again as they should be however its a whole different case with ships.

Ingame one is not airtight. all my crops are died.

Excellent build, but lacks some newer QoL features, such as linked storage containers.

Depending on how your base is placed, there are 5 possible air leaks: the core and 2 large fuel tanks. It took me a bit, but those items are not air tight and the way my base was situated, they were above ground. 5 cement blocks and problem solved.

Just FYI, This might be related to recent changes in Reforged/Eden (as it has been some time since I spawned this BP), but the fuel tanks below the large constructor are now leaking radiation (about 2.1, so still take slight radiation even with light armor on) when you stand next to it. My fix was to move those 2 tanks from under the large constructor to near the main entrance stairs below and behind the small black storage box, then upgraded a couple of the wood blocks close to the edge to concrete for protection.

Thank you Lady Aedra, Eternity, Kacey, and Destroileur! To be honest, this creation is so old now I would not be surprised it has issues. I may take a look at it thou and see if it can be fixed easy enough with the O2 problem. However, it was also not built for the newer storage systems/wifi etc. Those things just didn't exist in the game when the base was made. And thanks again all!

For oxygen concerns, it's just two blocks below the constructor to replace!

Hey JRandall, thanks for your time and effort in these builds, I use a lot of your stuff. Unfortunately I'm having trouble with this one though. The base isn't ventilating/filling up with O2 meaning I'm unable to grow anything. Any advice would be appreciated.
