TF2 CoOp/Survival (Gamemodes)

Description
This mod requires Team Fortress 2 Weapon Pack and all mods (except for VR slots) which are required by that weapon pack.

You can switch classes by using "Open CWM/RWS/Loot menu" button (same one you use for CWM menu).


This mod adds two cooperative gamemodes based on TF2 weapons - simple CoOp and Survival.

In these modes, you cannot use weapon/ammo items on the map.
Instead, at the start of every round (and sometimes during the battle) you can choose any TF2 class by using "Open CWM/RWS/Loot menu" button (same one you use for CWM menu). You can use number buttons to select class while in menu.

Then (after the round starts) you are given all weapons of that class which are present in the pack and potentially infinite ammo - for all weapons except those on scripted regeneration, like Sandvich, and except Sapper (which is OP with unlimited ammo).
Other player stats, such as Max Health, Movement Speed and ability to Double Jump are also affected by class choice.

In survival mode, you can respawn some time after death - the time for respawning grows as survival goes on.
When dead, you can freely switch between classes. You can also switch classes if you stay alive for more than one minute with one class.

In coop mode, you can switch classes every 15 seconds and respawn as usual.

For obvious reasons, players in the gamemode have constant power, regardless of which weapons were placed on the map by the map author and how hard it is. So it is quite possible that some maps will be way too easy in this mode.
You can play around with "Extra enemy strength (per player)" multiplier in such cases to add challenge.

I also recommend Health Bars and Damage Numbers mod for this gamemode, as it will help track allies' health when playing as a Medic.

You can use Multiplayer Management page of CWM, and add all DOOM/Quake weapons to the "allowed" list, and then player can obtain all needed ones himself.
The problem with weapon limit (or rather, ammo type limit) can still mess you up, tho.
Weapon limit is 64, while ammo type limit is 32.

I wanted to give diferent weapons to diffent players in the server (Player 1 = Doom weapons, Player 2 = Quake weapons) but i'm not sure if this is possible :/

You could just use "Infinite ammo" difficulty modifier and obtain DOOM weapons via CWM and freely walk through levels/survival using them.

Is the weapon limit client-side or server side? Because i wanted to request(if you could of course) a similar mod like this but instead of tf2 classes would be diferent game weapon like Doom 2016, Quake 4... But i think isn't possible because the weapon limit, right?

Well, yeah, sorry for that. I guess those cases may be specifically fixed, but for now, you can cheat your way through places where you have to use C4 to progress.

so i don't know if you are aware of this or not... but when using this addon and playing the TF2 Coop game mode, it makes it impossible to beat SS3 BFE (not sure about the other games)

if you pick up C4 and swap to it, it quickly swaps you back to a different gun before you can even do anything with the C4.

there are parts where you are literally forced to use the C4 to blow stuff up to pass through and continue, and i tried using the Spy's sapper, it did NOTHING as it doesn't expload.

and for the final boss of BFE, it prevents you from picking up the rods to throw into the boss because it once again swaps you back to using the guns of the class you are using


but if you don't use this addon for running through the campaign, then it's fun that's for sure!
