Description
My first experiment with crafting maps with NotePad++!

A few things I learned:
--The 'Row' field starts from the bottom of the map, not the top like I expected.
--May need to (repeatedly) tinker with the starting positions of Moving Walls. I still haven't figured out exactly how they align with the Row/Column fields.
--Spawners probably shoudln't be placed near pits.
--Unless you have a very specific wave composition in mind, you can safely ignore manually filling in the Waves field(s). The map will auto-generate waves for you based on the map's DifficultyFactor value.

i love this game a ton its way better then the original one but...i still wish this game had the map creator similar to the on of the first game while the first map maker was cool all the new stuff enemies vaults and all the other stuff would make a great map maker... i wish we got one for this

Honestly i can see the devs still actively working on the game, why not make a map editor??

I really wish that i happened across this comment thread before getting the game.

If i can't wrap my head around Notepad++(simple as it may be to some, things like that.. don't always click with me), then a large portion of why i wanted the game, to make maps, is completly useless to me.
Genuinely kinda depressed at the worry of that, honestly. I wish a guide or sticky in the forums mentioned this.

I am using Mac, and I don't see an example map file in the create_map folder, can you upload the example one to a public github, or maybe even yours? Thanks very much

@sherrylmc: Notepad++ is a software for editing files like this. If it's not working then you've got some syntax wrong somewhere, which is one of the major drawbacks to having to do these things by hand, but that's the only way we can make maps for DW2 :/
