If i can't wrap my head around Notepad++(simple as it may be to some, things like that.. don't always click with me), then a large portion of why i wanted the game, to make maps, is completly useless to me.
Genuinely kinda depressed at the worry of that, honestly. I wish a guide or sticky in the forums mentioned this.
However, it would be quite interesting if someone else took it upon themselves to create that. That way, we would most likely get it eventually, no matter what, but chances are, it wouldn't be as good compared to if the devs themselves made it. We'll see, though! Thanks again.
As such, you'll probably want to use the Example Map as a base and then rewrite it to your desires. Navigate to the Dungeon Warfare 2\created_maps directory, and you'll see an Example folder. The Example.txt file will have some comments on what some fields do, and the Example.json file is the map itself
Copy that into a new folder and then edit it as you like.
@sherrylmc - I used Notepad++ and had the Example file mirrored to one side to make sure I had the syntax correct as I created it. Also made a rough draft in Photoshop of the map's layout for when inputting that field.
