Description
Deals small amounts of damage to barbarians depending on the terrain they're in to give desert or snow civs a better shot at developing and let everyone focus more on infrastructure rather than pumping out units on large maps.

Barbarians not in encampments take:
- 2 damage on good terrain (grassland, plains)
- 3 damage on poor terrain (tundra)
- 4 damage on bad terrain (desert, snow)
per turn. Barbarians in coast take 2 damage/turn as well, and if they manage to enter ocean they take 4 damage/turn.

The successor to my old Barbarian Spam Fix mod, this is better optimized and generally more playable than that version.

@low IQ haver You should just be able to edit the values yourself.

this seems like it would be great in vanilla (since units have 10 HP) but with GnK units have 100 HP so it basically does nothing. is there a version of this mod that works with GnK or is there an easy way to edit it to deal 10x damage?

Okay i got it to work by downloading through the steam overlay while in-game. Thanks for the suggestion to use the workshop downloader, though!

@Dr.Ravioli I tend to use {LINK REMOVED} when getting Civ V mods, though I haven't actually done so in a long time.

I'm having trouble downloading this, it's not appearing in-game or in the mod folder when i subscribe. Any possible workarounds?

I am not very well versed with how to use mods, but I am going to give this a try. I have been really unhappy with the way the game plays as is, the bardbarians are deadly, but no barbarians is no fun. Fingers cross.

@Inlogica I'm sorry, I'm not taking friend requests right now. The code is well-documented if you want to open it up and edit it yourself, but I don't have the time to help people tweak my mod for their use.

Oh my god thank you sir! Is it possible to adjust the amount of damage taken aswell?
Please forgive my asking but im new to modding. If you could accept my friend request i'd love to discuss more about modding, it would mean alot to me. And again, THANK YOU good sir!

@Inlogica Yeah, it'd be really easy; all you have to do is remove the check for the barbarian civ ID.

I have to say that this is one of the best mods ive seen in a long while. Please good sir, could you tell me if its possible to apply the same effect on your own units?
