Can you find out where it leads?

Outpost is a good way to stop progression of shielded workers.

If I recall correctly, shielded workers will lose their protection if you destroy the inhibitor nearby. Simply build a good army and push until the Inhibitor in the area is destroyed. Once it's down, workers will lose protection and you will be able to claim everything yourself.

I want to love this map. I really do. But instead I'm stuck hating it. I get that the shielded workers are shielded so that you can't just blast them and be done with it, but there's no counter play to them now. In theory, you could scare them off with minions or traps... but in practice they just ignore both, and the minions/traps waste their time trying to attack the shielded units. Every last engagement ends up feeling like I'm pulling teeth at this point, and it's entirely because of the shielded workers reclaiming ground and ignoring all counter play. I've restarted this mission many times in the hope that this is some strange bug, but if so, it's a very persistent and reliable one.

Use debug console.

Press Scroll Lock. Type GreatStuff. Move hand of evil to that inhibitor so it is selected, press F4 and while holding it press K. This should destroy that inhibitor and count towards objective.

In future I suggest using imp impassable flag to prevent this kind of bug from happening. You may also ticket the bug to report section on brightrock games forum.

It was the one to the top-right of the map. I tried unclaiming it, but it wouldn't do it - only the tiles around it

Which inhibitor it was?

Some people seem to have a problem with inhibitor on different maps for some reason. It's probably a new ''unknown'' bug.

You can unclaim any claimed object using unclaim spell. In future, you can use imp impassable 3x3 flag on inhibitors to prevent imps from claiming those before they are destroyed.

I almost completed the map, but my minions claimed one of the inhibitors and now I can't destroy it

its the effect when gold is generating in the vault, I believe, but it happened with a unit in the vault, like they were continually getting paid. may try this one again in regular mode, now that I know how to protect the core from the neverending screechers

That's an odd thing to hear. Maybe there's a bug or something. A screenshot would be nice as I can't really narrow down what could cause this.

one other thing I found while playing-gold levels would suddenly drop for no real reason--I spotted units several times in a vault--with gold bubbling around them

I finally made it to the end==was worried for a bit when I saw one of the enemy units in the north trapped in a wall, but got through the map.--as far as I know, though about your last comment--spirit workers wont take down a wall--temp workers anyway
