This mod adds the Bulgarian Empire to the game as a playable civilization (G-K). Once again, advice and tips are welcome! Any incorrect information, unintended offensive elements etc..
Does not contain 3D models.

Leader: Simeon I the Great

UA: All trained melee, archer, siege and mounted units in Cities with a Forge are 25% more defensive against ranged attacks. Pre-industrial non-gun infantry can move after attacking and more easily in rough terrain.

UB: Literary School. Replaces the Amphitheater. +2 Culture after researching Architecture. Culture costs of acquiring new tiles reduced by 20% in this City.

UU: The Shtitonostzi. Replaces the Spearman. Unlike the Spearman, it also has a bonus versus (non-gun) infantry (25%).

A very expansive civilization; look for iron resources to have an army well suited against ranged attacks, useful when attacking and taking over Cities; you'll take less damage from the defending units which are usually ranged units or Cities.
The Bulgarian army is also very mobile and therefore a force to be reckoned with. The Literary school is beneficial for border expansion, allowing for a large empire. The UU is a versatile, good unit able to fight any unit.
